The planet was thrown into a frenzy when a sudden international broadcast intercepted all digital screens. Four unmasked men in all black robes stood in an empty white room. In the center was one figure that shocked the planet that was brutally battered and tortured. The figure in question was bloodied in his face, scars were visible all over his body, and he looked to be half conscious. Who was it? It was the current monarch of Earth! The video transmitted had a man, presumably the leader of the group, spoke against the monarch's current rein along with his policies that the group thought was detrimental to Earth. They had enough of the monarch and planned to tear him out from his position of power.
The group that held the king captive was the Phantom Blades. The Red Ribbon Army had a few run ins with the group, as they were a rebellious group. Their infamy rose from their twisted philosophy of their definition of freedom. They were firm believers of anarchy, convinced into the idea that anarchy was the true way of living and people can govern themselves without the fear of authority potentially denying their rights. They've claimed that all forms of authority were a cancer to the planet and must be brought down. This wasn't their first instance of kidnapping an important figure and holding them hostage. The Earth Defense Force were on the hunt for the group, but their success was all but apparent. It was to a point where the Red Ribbon Army had to step in and aid the other force. And here they were again, assisting the Earth Defense Force.
In the office of the Red Ribbon Army's base was Yuto Botan, the CEO. He was known for his cutthroat strategies, making him a force to reckon with. His dedication to the company was admirable and him proving that he would do whatever it took for his company to be at the top of the food chain also sparked some fear with the admiration. With him across his desk was Kyanite, who stood tall and proud with the Red Ribbon Army. Formally Espere who was initially a human hoping to join the company only to be met with rejection, the rejection turned into addiction and desperation for her goals to bring Earth to complete peace by ridding those that were nonhuman. Now a self-made cyborg whose talents were finally recognized under a new name, Kyanite proved herself to be an incredible asset to the Red Ribbon Army.
The CEO and cyborg both had their eyes glued on the television that played the hostage video. Kyanite had both arms crossed against her chest as she attentively observed the surroundings within the video. Yuto, on the other hand, only stared in annoyance and frustration. "Just as everyone else expected, the Earth Defense Force can't do their goddamn jobs. It's bad enough they weren't prepared for the intergalactic bullshit they forced the planet into, but now they came running to us for the nth time, even with all the fuckin' equipment we've sent them." Yuto growled.
Yuto, of course, only focused on the negatives of the situation and understandably so. Kyanite, though, was able to slightly bring up the mood with a small ray of light in a more casual tone. "True, but all press is good press for us. We come in, throw out the bad guys, then boom, Red Ribbon Army saves the day once again and the Earth Defense Force gets a B plus for effort, and we gain more trust and respect from the general public." The Red Ribbon Army had an opportunity from this that couldn't be ignored and it was perfect for them to seize it. Yuto saw it as a burden, but Kyanite saw it as an advantage.
And it appeared Yuto already caught onto the android's point as he hummed in contemplation. "You... may have a good point. A really good one. If it meant screwing over the EDF and take the spotlight for ourselves, then who am I to complain? Then again, those assholes love to take credit from our hard earned work. Looks like we're going to have to be a little greedier than usual this time." Though as they continued to observe the video, it was briefly interrupted with another video that had a quick switch of scenery. From a horrific sight of the monarch was replaced with a tall woman in EDF uniform and the emblem sewed on the left side of her chest. "Speak of the devil." He groaned.
The video broadcasted was of no importance to both Yuto and Kyanite. The EDF had their moments of masquerading that they had the situation, and that was exactly what was going on. The usual reassurance that the organization had everything under control, they apologized that the public had to view such a frightening image, the usual PR talk. "And by 'we will do our best to bring the terrorist group, the Phantom Blade, down', they mean us." Kyanite chuckled at herself as she spoke in the recognizable professional tone that the EDF enjoyed to use to mock them.
"Well jokes aside, did you have enough time to analyze where the hell they could be keeping the king in?"
Throughout the broadcast, Kyanite used her cybernetics to try and trace where the monarch could be. It was the only way to truly pinpoint just where exactly the Phantom Blades, or at least some of its members, and the king were hiding in. Thankfully, the android nodded in approval. "I have a very good gist of where they could be, the general area. The signal they used was extremely poor for tracking, so their hacker knew what the hell they were doing. Other than that, I have my ways of tracking them down of where exactly they are." With the use of her heat detection ability, she could easily scout the area and view the specific point where the monarch is held that.
Yuto smiled for the first time since the interaction and nodded in approval. "Then you know exactly what you need to do. Find the members, take them down but don't take them out." By that, it meant that Kyanite needed to bring them back alive. Why? For nefarious reasons that only the android knew; android conversion, similar to her own end goals. "After that, do PR work for us. Broadcast that the king is okay, the Red Ribbon ensured his safety, we will take him to a hospital, blah blah all of that goodie two shoes shit we're used to hearing." He ordered. "I trust that you'll be doing your best to get the mission done efficiently." He turned his chair, the back facing against Kyanite as he said his final words as a farewell.
Kyanite nodded her head and gave a half hearted smirk. "Of course. Operation shit on the EDF so the Red Ribbon Army comes out clean and victorious is already in motion. I'll keep you up to date on what's going on." Was the last statement she made in mock salute before she exited out of the office.

Kyanite was on her motorcycle provided by the Red Ribbon Army as she traveled to the outskirts of East City where she last saw the signal ping. Her heat detection was activated and hunted for where the four robed men were while she made her way to the edge of the city. She saw an array of heat signatures that appeared in her scanner. It's been about 20 minutes since the cyborg made her leave from the Red Ribbon Army's base and out on the road. The area she entered looked forsaken, typical for a hideout. There were various abandoned buildings and what looked to be projects to be that never came to life. On the other hand, it was a smart location if left in the right hands of a hacker to tamper the signal to be nearly untraceable. Fortunately enough, Kyanite had access to technology to counter such an inconvenience.
The heat signatures became scarce, not a single soul to be detected. You've GOT to be kidding me. My damn tracker told me the signal was around here somewhere! Kyanite gritted her teeth at what she looked like. With such a large perimeter, it would be easy for the cyborg to see a slight change in heat detection. To her surprise, she wasn't able to see anything. In due course, luck came to the rescue when she spotted feint signatures from afar. Oh thank goodness. I really need to get my shit checked. A small sigh of relief huffed through her lips as she headed off towards the signatures.
The cyborg arrived in front of a ruined building that was set to be at least 3 stories high. "Very typical." She said to herself. She parked her motorcycle near the entrance of the building. When it was stationed, she hopped off and walked towards the entrance. Before entering, she took a good look at the heavy metal doors and its surroundings. Despite the building's condition, she noticed there were two active cameras capturing the area in motion. Before they were able to land on the cyborg, Kyanite held out her hand as she shot two small blasts of electricity to overpower the cameras and destroy them.
"Damn, they're really not- GAH!" Kyanite's train of thought was interrupted when she felt a blunt force from a kick landing on the back of her head. The kick was strong enough to catch the cyborg off guard, but not enough to throw her off her balance. At best, she staggered from the impact but managed to recover and fix her posture. "What the hell?!" After she recovered, she immediately whipped her head around to see who threw the kick.
Before her were two fairly tall men who had some noticeable muscle definition. Just from their faces, they were 2 out of the 4 men that were in the video with the captive monarch. What made them especially distinct were the clothes they wore... almost like they belonged to a martial art school. A "changshan"? As a cherry on top, they wore a skullcap with a model of a crane's head. It felt as though she saw the uniform a couple of times somewhere, but she couldn't put her finger on it.
But now wasn't the time to ponder on their odd choice of fashion.
Without any words exchanged, the two men rushed at Kyanite. One of the men charged ki on his right hand and diverged to the cyborg's left whereas the other one still charged forward. The man with the charged ki sphere launched the orb at Kyanite. The woman braced for impact from what she expected was taking damage from the blast, but the sphere landed directly in front of her feet. The sphere exploded on impact, nearly knocked back from how much power was in the blast. Smoke immediately risen from the ground, crowding Kyanite's vision. The cyborg was resourceful enough to reactivate her heat detection and saw one of the men emerge from the smoke with his fist cocked back and thrown at her face.
Kyanite caught the punch, but the strength from his fist connecting with the palm of her hand sent tingling pain down her arm. "Tch!" Kyanite grunted in pain as she held the man's fist in place, both parties struggling to overpower one over the other. Her attention was all on the man before her, but what she failed to notice was the other man that threw the sphere dash to her from behind and land a brutal chop to her neck. An agonized scream echoed in the barren location as she was sent flying across the land and eventually broke through a wall.
"Ugh... shit." Kyanite muttered to herself as she found herself lying in rubble. The cyborg shook her head to regain her senses and immediately jumped out of the rubble. Just when she mostly returned to her regular state, the two men were seen charging at the cyborg. "Oh come the fuck on, when will this shit give me even a 2 minute break?!" She complained. She could already tell she was dealing with men that she'd never admit were similar to her in power. It looked like she had to break out her "big guns" sooner than expected.
Kyanite spread both her arms out as blades sprung from the sockets. The cyborg found herself on the defensive, her blades clashing against their powerful strikes as the three eventually collided with each other. For a while, the battle was a fury of quick paced movements, the sound of metal against flesh and bone echoing through the air. Despite her razor sharp blades, the men were barely effected by the sharpness against their bare skin. Throughout her best efforts, Kyanite was slowly overwhelmed by the sheer skill and power of these men. A well-placed kick sent her sprawling to the ground by one of them, and just when she got up in time for defense, a barrage of punches rained down on her by the other.
The Phantom Blades men showed no mercy on the cyborg as their attacks grew more relentless. Kyanite's systems were pushed to their limits as she struggled to fend them off, forever stuck on the defense and failing to see an opening for offense. A sharp pain shot through her as one of the men landed a powerful knee to her torso. The knee was so powerful, it caused her to finally crumble onto her knees, gasping for breath, her vision blurring. "Ugh..." Her moans of pain were hoarse as she leaned forward to help calm the pain and matis blade retracted back into their slots, even if it did almost absolutely nothing. Despite her slightly blurred vision, she witnessed both men approaching her.
"You've held out well... but it's over for you. You never should've came if you knew what was good for you." One of the men spoke. The same man rose his hand right in front of Kyanite as a large ki sphere hovered across his hand. But just as he was about to strike, a surge of white electricity crackled around Kyanite's body. At first, it was mini flickers that occurred around her body, both the men paying no mind. In just a matter of seconds, however, her eyes snapped open and glowed with fierce intensity. In an instant, she unleashed a powerful burst of lightning that caused the men to fly backwards. They made harsh contact against the ground, dazed and momentarily incapacitated.
The cyborg then rose to her feet, her body crackling with electric energy given from her android conversion. Her mantis blades extended further once again. She felt as if her life was on the line in the moment, and it was. She advanced on the men with renewed determination. The men were quick scramble to their feet and get into position to defend, but it was too late for them to act upon it. Kyanite moved with blinding speed, her blades cutting through the air with lethal precision.
She struck with calculated efficiency, disabling the men. A slash here, a shock there, and soon the men found themselves on the ground, unable to continue the fight. Kyanite stood over them, her eyes still glowing with intensity, but her expression was calm. She rose her hands up as the cackling eventually came to a halt. For a moment, Kyanite felt like she was a different person. Someone else took the reigns on her in that moment. Now she stood over two bloodied men that were incapacitated. Whatever the hell that was, she was glad she came out victorious. Kyanite then looked up at the building and gently huffed out air to herself.
"Two bastards down, two more to go, then save the king."

Kyanite pushed the heavy metal doors wide open and took steady steps into the building. Just as expected, the area was littered with rubble, cracked paint, scratched walls, and a few broken windows. Glass covered some parts of the floor alongside a few broken boards. By the design of the hallway, the cyborg assumed that this was going to be a school of some sort. She had some questions, but those had to wait. She already took down two of the Phantom Blades men and she needed to hunt down two more before securing the king into a safer spot. "Alright, little shitheads." Kyanite whispered to herself, her heat detection ability reactivated yet again.
"Let's see where your asses are hiding now." She began to stalk forward in a slow pace, taking in the environment around her. The same problem she had prior happened again. The air was infected with dust and the thick silence was broken by the occasional creak each step the cyborg took and the pounding her heart did against her check to where she could hear it through her ears. The adrenaline still pulsed and Kyanite tried her best to keep calm. After what she just went through, her nerves refused to stay still. Regardless, the cyborg was left on high alert just in case she gets jumped like she did previously.
As she navigated through the halls, Kyanite picked up a bright signature. The cyborg clenched her fists in resolution as she immediately began to run towards the source. The signature, however, grew closer and quick. In just an instance, a man flashed right before with a twisted grin taped onto his face. His brows wrinkled in complete concentration while the rest of his expression was marked with bloodlust. In front of him he lunged with what looked to be blades ejected from his arm sockets, similar to Kyanite's own! As the distance hastily closed, his blades slashed in the air with deadly accurate directly at Kyanite at frightening speed. Kyanite barely had time to react as she successfully blocked his strike with her own blades, but the force from his attack sent her skidding backward. Sparks bounced about as their blades collided, the sound of metals ringing throughout the barren halls.
The man paused, Kyanite continuing to slide across the halls. She gritted her teeth as she tried to bring herself to a halt, but the force was too powerful. She eventually found herself near the other side of the wall, her back barely making contact with the wall. In a blink of an eye, the man reappeared right before her and the twisted smile still visible. A punch was launched towards her midsection at a fast speed, but the cyborg's reflexes were quicker. She sidestepped and grabbed the wrist of the punch the man made. She then delivered a spinning kick to his head with just enough power to send him crashing into a crumbling wall.
Kyanite knew such a sick wouldn't put him down, but it gave her enough time to recover and readjust herself. Though, it was only just a mere few seconds before the man sprung up from the debris and charged at the cyborg once more, his blades out and his tongue lolling for blood. He began to slash at the cyborg, to which Kyanite was easily able to deflect his blades with her own. Every hit was dodged, blocked, and countered at an increasing rate, in one fluid motion. As their metals continued to collide and create more sparks, she tried to get a glance for whatever emblem attached to him, similar to the duo she previously fought against.
The more they clashed, the quicker and more powerful their movements were to the point where Kyanite was beginning to slow down. Sweat trickled down her temple as the man proved no signs of slowing down or tiring out. Eventually, the man successfully landed a slash at Kyanite's midsection. The pain stinged all around the cut, but the cyborg did her best to push through the pain. She grunted in agony with one eye closed and teeth closed very tightly to cope. A beat missed by Kyanite by a few milliseconds, the man charged up ki in his fist. He aimed this time a brutal ki-infused punch to the same section, causing her to double over in pain as it landed right on the wound. The impact left her dazed, barely able to readjust her stance before the man was upon her again.
The man rose one blade above the cyborg and slammed it right through her left shoulder. Kyanite's scream bellowed in the empty halls as her body tensed to the pulsing pain in her shoulder. She then felt herself risen up by the blade as the man then performed a brutal swing, sending Kyanite flying the opposite direction of where they stood, her body slamming into another wall with a explosive THUD! Kyanite moaned in immense pain as her body lied in a slowly forming puddle of her own blood from the gaping wound on her left shoulder. "Son of a goddamn..." She felt weak in the moment, unable to finish her complaint and dismay of the position she was in.
Heavy footsteps boomed in the hollow hallways as the man approached the cyborg. Each footstep rung closer to her ears before she eventually saw her loom over her. Kyanite tried to get up, but her body failed. At best, the cyborg was able to lift her head up. She sneered at the man with great disdain.
"Go fuck your- AAAAAAH!"
Another agonized scream howled from the cyborg as the man lifted a boot up and slammed it down on her upper chest. The man stared down at the fallen cyborg, his eyes cold and sadistic. "Shame. You could've been a really good addition to the team. The problem was, you chose the losing side." He heartlessly chuckled. The man rose his blade for the finishing blow and slammed it down towards Kyanite's neck!
But Kyanite wasn't ready to back down yet. Now now.
The cyborg, using the last of her strength, caught the blade in her hand. Blood immediately spilled from her palm as the struggle to hold the blade in place continued. With a smirk, the man used his other blade to retry the slam through her neck, but to his surprise, Kyanite caught it with her other hand now wounded from the slice! "What the hell?!" He spat while he tried to wrestle his blades out of the cyborg's grasp. It was only a minute ago did the cyborg looked defeated, now all of a sudden she somehow regained her strength! It didn't matter, the man was still confident he was able to end the woman and he will.
Though, the man thought of his victory too soon. Summoning the last of bit of her power, Kyanite began to show resistance. What happened during her fight with the duo started to happen again. The sudden burst of lightning adrenaline. A surge of white electricity traveled throughout her body. The familiar unexpected burst of energy revitalized her, her body slowly rising to its feet, her eyes blazing with the same determination she had from before. "Think again, jackass." She growled with venom at the man.
Kyanite released the man's blades and began to slash at him once more. Her movements became a blur to the man as she unleashed a flurry of attacks, her mantis blades slicing with, this time, ease, fluidity, and destructive calculation. The man was caught off guard at the unforeseen gain of life back into Kyanite's body, his defenses began to falter under the onslaught when he was pushed back. The cyborg's electricity crackled and sparked, intertwining with her blades as she pressed with advantage. The man struggled to defend himself, his energy wavering.
Before either of them consciously knew it throughout the various sequences of counters and dodges among their blades, Kyanite landed a devastating stab right through the man's stomach with both of her own blades.. Blood splattered from his mouth as he released a damning scream of pain. Repeating what he did to her, Kyanite rose the man up with no effort and slammed him down on the ground, trading places with one another. Now the man was the one who lied in his own blood that continued to leak from the gaping wound from his stomach and Kyanite stood over him.
The man smiled at Kyanite despite his condition and the position he was forced into. "Well, you got me right where I wanted you." He groaned through each word spoken, the pain driving him internally crazy. Still, he kept his composure frighteningly well. "Go on, then. Finish me off. I'd say you earned it after the hard ass beating I put you through." He declared. The man was very quick to accept his death, excited even. It's as if... he wanted it, for some reason.
And Kyanite was very tempted to. Electricity still crackled around her body, but not a word was uttered towards the man. Both of her blades were poised for the striking the killing blow. But as she looked into his eyes, she saw something that gave her pause in putting the man out for good. It wasn't a flicker of humanity or the idea of killing another fellow machine, a Perfect Machine to be more specific, and realizing they were more than just that. No, it was the order of sparing these men for android conversion as Kyanite made the promise to the CEO.
At the end, Kyanite stepped back and retracted her blades back into her arm sprockets. "If I wasn't a leashed dog cherished and fed by the greatest of corporations, I would've already had your head by now. Alas, I got orders to follow. Your ass is staying alive for now." She explained it. If it was all left up to her, Kyanite wouldn't ended them all on the spot. No point of leaving anything behind, but she did see Yuto's point of view as much as she hated to admit it. The more, the merrier for android domination.
All the man could do was chuckle at Kyanite's response. That was it. Nothing more than a chuckle. "Meh, fair enough, I guess. I was ordered to kill you, so that makes us both useful mutts." He laughed with pain subtly sprinkled in his vibrato.
Just when Kyanite was about to walk away, a the sound of a gun cocked rung behind her. "And what I'm looking at now will be a dead dog soon." There he was. Right behind the android was the final man out of the four that kidnapped the king of Earth. The cyborg stood dead in place, but the electric adrenaline still coursed through her body. The urge to kill was strong, but she had to hold it in. Though, she couldn't stop herself any further in resisting to move and plan her next move.
In short, her body moved on her own. Kyanite twirled around and stuck her leg out for a spinning kick. The man fired, the gunshots echoing through the empty halls but his aim was sloppy from getting caught off guard from the speed her kick was at. The kick connected to the hand that held the gun, knocking it out from the man's grasp. "Damn it! He hissed in disappointment as he jumped back to create distance between him and the cyborg.
The man charged up and began launching a volley of ki blasts at Kyanite. The cyborg, still as energized as ever, dodged and weaved through every single blast with ease thanks to her temporary enhanced reflexes. In a heartbeat, she closed the distance between them and delivered a powerful elbow to his jaw with enough strength to send him crashing into a nearby wall. From impact, he slid down the wall after the crash that left a crater. He groaned in intense pain, clutching his ribs as he tried to stand up, but to no avail, he only fell right on his back.
And just like that, all four men were taken out. Alive. Just like Yuto wanted. Now it was time to phone him in and find the king of the Earth.
"Mr. Botan, apologies for the long wait. I've brought the four men down. They were a bitch to deal with, but they're good as well down. I'm on my way for the king as we speak...

Kyanite eventually found the king of Earth bounded in a chair. He was bloodied up badly, but luckily the man still had a pulse. After she freed the man, she proceeded to broadcast the current status of him being alive and went over the usual routine of PR: the king was secured in thanks to the Red Ribbon Army and that the four men were dealt with accordingly. After checking on his well being, the cyborg then called in Red Ribbon Army reinforcements to "apprehend" the four Phantom Blades members that held the monarch in captivity. Then, reinforcements proceeded to hunt down for any other Phantom Blades member hiding in the vicinity. In the end, it was all over. Kyanite successfully saved the king all on her own.
The cyborg was outside with the king who was being treated for his wounds. With the two of them was the CEO of the Red Ribbon Army himself, Yuto. It was often rare for the CEO to make his appearance known to the public, but with a situation that just transpired and the benefits that could be taken from all of it, how could he not show his face and have the corporation take some credit from Kyanite's hard work while still making her the star of the show? "We, the Red Ribbon Army, are extremely delighted to know that you're now in good hands, saved by an injured one that risked her life all on her own for your rescue." He spoke to the king in his usual professional tone that carried sympathy and content, something the cyborg knew it was all just for show; a kiss up to the king.
The king, however, didn't pick up on the masquerade and instead laughed with the CEO despite his current condition. "If it wasn't for your super soldier, I wouldn't even know how long it'd take before they did anything worse." And there it was, the credit for both sides. The corporation for sending out Kyanite, and Kyanite for saving the king. The cyborg now the topic, both men turned their heads towards Kyanite, who only sat in silence and observed the conversation. She leaned forward with one leg crossed on top of the other to hold her right arm in place with her elbow plopped up so her head can rest easy on her hand. She was offered medical assistance, but denied it for the time being. "What is your name, young lady?" He softly asked.
"Kyanite, uh, your, uh... majesty? Sir?" The cyborg was unsure how to refer to the most important person on the planet and almost felt embarrassed, only because Yuto was with them and she could just feel the daggers from his glare. She finally snapped away from the adrenaline that surged through her throughout the ordeal. She had no clue what came over her or knew how exactly it was activated. For now, though, Kyanite was finally in a calm state.
Instead, the king laughed it off and shook his head. "No need to worry about formality for now. I wanted to properly thank you. For everything. From arresting the men to saving my life. I wasn't even sure if the EDF would come in time, but you did. And the the most impressive of all? You did it all on your own. I'll say this; I have complete confidence that you would've taken their whole entire organization down if you wanted to." He spoke with such admiration and gratitude, it forced Kyanite to curve her lips into a small smile of satisfaction she was holding back. She could tell even Yuto was impressed with her work.
"Of course. We don't just supply weapons and androids, we also help the public any way we can. Just in case the Earth Defense Force couldn't make it on time." This was only said to help make the Red Ribbon Army look good to better secure their place in the king's positive stance of them. She threw a quick glance at the CEO, who was very pleased with Kyanite's PR work.
Yuto nodded his head in agreement and took a step forward. "Exactly. In the event that any wrongdoing is going on, we're more than happy to step in. And that's what we did." He added. The king looked tense for a moment as he furrowed his brows in concern, something the CEO caught on and quickly pointed out. "What's wrong, your majesty?" He asked.
The king shrugged his shoulders then gently shook his head. "I just have... questions. About the men that abducted me. Two of them seemed to be from the Crane School, or former students. Maybe. The other one was an android, but he didn't seem to be part of the Red Ribbon. At least, I didn't see any emblem or logo that could confirm he was with you. The only other man wasn't branded." He explained.
Crane School... Kyanite's memory served her correctly when she recalled the two men she fought wearing a skullcap with a model of a crane's head, a feature that was most memorable. "Crane School?" She echoed. It made sense of where their uniform came from, though she was still unsure of what exactly they were.
"It's a Martial Arts school founded by Master Shen and taught by Shen. Their morality is said to be... questionable, but they do help the general public become more aware and involved in public by gaining the ability to defend themselves or help stop trouble just in case authorities are unable to come in on time." The king explained.
Kyanite and Yuto quietly shared a glance at each other as the king spoke. Questionable morality? Yet they were still accessible to the public? "Hang on. I think that constitutes us looking into them. They wore the uniforms, so they were representing their school. The cyborg pointed out. Whether or not they were still students was out of the question. What mattered more was they wore their attire proud during the altercation, so it gave them more than reasonable doubt to believe the Crane School was somehow involved in not just this kidnapping, but also uncovering possible connections with the Phantom Blades.
Yuto nodded his head in agreement and followed Kyanite's lead. "That's right. I think this is something the Red Ribbon Army is more than happy to look into. We don't know exactly if they're still students at that school, but like Kyanite said, they wore the uniforms, so that gives us a lead on something." He added.
Then, it was Kyanite's turn to convince the king. "Considering we don't really have the legal right to conduct a search, I think with the consideration of what happened, it'd be best for us to have your permission with this being a big event and everything. Ahemn." Kyanite quickly cleared her throat at the end to keep up her professionalism. She hoped it was enough to convince the team, or at least let the Red Ribbon Army take care of it and leave the Earth Defense Force out of it.
The king, though, only stared into the distance in deep concentration. Silence took over before he sighed and nodded his head. "Very well. You especially," He started off in reference to the cyborg. "Have done so much for me and your company as a whole. As soon as I'm feeling mostly better, I will write a warrant for you to check the Crane School. See if it confirms your suspicions." He finally spoke.
Yuto and Kyanite smiled in satisfaction, the cyborg then nodding her head. "Thank you, your majesty, sir. I promise, we'll do everything in our power to get to the bottom of this." She promised. One point for the Red Ribbon Army, zero for the Earth Defense Force.
Operation Save The King was a success. Now, when she was all patched up, Kyanite had to go on a field trip to the Crane School.
