The journey through space was always boring and that was even in a full functioning ship much a less a space pod. Most pods had a function that would allow you to sleep peacefully throughout the journey. Zaks little pod did not have that feature in it fully! Or it was damaged she did not fully know.
She was asleep sorta if she could call it anything at all. But the best way she could describe it was more like an advanced form of mediation. she could still think even though she didn't move or seem to pass time in a normal sense. thankfully that meant she did not have to eat or anything else of that nature. Unfortunately that meant her mind could do nothing but wonder about everything while she sat there.
What could she do! This was frustratingly boring! She kept trying to command herself to wake up or anything and unfortunatly she could not even do that! thankfully she could still sense others KI! it served as a good ability she could use to distract herself. The Ki she had been following since earth was gone unfortunately. her ability did not allow her to sense from that far of currently location in the grand scheme of things. Although maybe she could learn to sense even further instead of just the planet.
As she tried reaching further and further with her senses she noticed that she still had limited control of her Ki. It was not full control but it did give her something to play with as she made the long journey by herself. Oh she could sense herself when she was out in space pretty much all by herself. Ohh she could not help but remember what the Saiyans that had attacked earth had done when She and liek stopped them. They had hidden there KI!
She had never been able to sense her own before now since everything else around her drowned her senses with there own ki. but out here in space? There was nothing! No interference with her sense or even anything to sense but herself! slowly she began to play with her Ki making it spike and sink constantly. It was almost like a child with a new toy who would just play with a ball or stick for hours to amuse themselves. She would hide her power level from herself as she flew through the depths of space on her journey to her home world.
But eventfully the amusement ended and her mind began to close back into her journey. Soon she would arrive back on the world of Vegeta after being gone for 9 years. It did happen that Saiyans were gone that long for a myriad of reasons. planets some times fought back stiffly and it would take days if not years to take control of a world. There ship could be damaged or destroyed during there mission and it could take time to repair or find another.
As for Zaks she had heard some new back on earth from a merchant that had come from there. Lucieta was not a very well known figure to the Saiyan public. She was known by some Elites but for all official reports she was a nobody who disappeared on a mission 9 years ago with her squad. It seems they hushed up her fleeing the world after a betrayal to save face.
That would make it easy to return as long as she stayed away from the elites in the upper city. she could go see old friends and check on Vegeta in a way she could never before now. She also could finally bring back her mementos from those who lost there lives that day to be buried on Vegeta. Funny how they were betrayed by that same world but still wanted to be buried there.
But in order not to draw attention Zaks needed to calm her... persona in many ways. First was her red eye. She had covered that with an Eyepatch. As for her clothes she had dug out her old Saiyan armor and Damaged it pretty much useless. it would save her modesty and not much else. She would need to Register she was still alive with the local Branch office but it would be a little while before they flagged her if they caught her at all.
Next was a problem she had not been sure of how to handle until this exact moment in time. Her power level was that of an Elite and an upper class one at that. There was no way she was gonna be able to hide it fully when she got there or that had been the thought. She could hide the power up the eye Gave her but not her general power level...until now. She would spend the remaining 3 days and change training her new or soon to be new ability.
Reaching out again she sensed her own KI and while she watched it closely she slowly tried to lower her power level to the point she could not feel it anymore. Unfortunately it looked harder then she thought it was going to be. She very quickly learned to lower her power level but not to fully suppress it so it was nothing.
"" COME ON!"" She growled and her power level spiked when the warrior growled at herself. She would have to keep this cycle up for several more cycles. Wait? It seemed like it was more then just her Physical self that controlled her KI! Her emotions! she should have guessed it with all the years of fighting! She needed to calm her heart all the way down.. other wise.
Taking a deep breath she focused her heart again on her Goal. She could do this just be calm! That was one of the main things she had to do to finish her mission. Focusing her senses she searched for her own ki again and found nothing for a moment. awesome! her Excitement broke her new found peace and she could suddenly sense her own KI again.
""Ok looks like i just need to control myself then..."" Well she would just keep practicing until she arrived at her destination. After all she had all the time in the galaxy.
