Coffee? Check. Lots of creamer? Toast? Check. Butter? Absolutely. For once, the chaos had subsided, and Kyanite found herself with a rare day off. No work, no need to complete any assignments, no CEO dragging her into obscure situations to handle, just complete relaxation. Right outside of the shop, it was a perfect spot to de-stress and enter into a state of serenity.
The cyborg leaned back and closed her eyes for a moment, basking in the warmth of the sun on her face. The city seemed oddly calm today, a welcome change from the usual battles and chaos that defined her existence. She silently observed the faint hums of conversations and the occasional chirp of birds, letting the tranquility wash over her. Her eyes opened back, she took a sip of the coffee, savoring the rich, sweet flavor. It was a simple pleasure, but one she rarely had the time to enjoy. She spread some butter on her toast, watching it melt and soak into the crispy surface.
As she ate, Kyanite couldn't help but smile to herself. Despite her cybernetic enhancements and the power she wielded as an adroid, moments like these reminded her of her humanity. Before she got rid of "Espere". Before her life drastically took a turn for the worst before she became the product of her environment. She took another sip of coffee, glancing around at the other patrons. Some were engrossed in books, others in conversation, and a few simply enjoying their own solitude.
She allowed herself to relax completely, her guard down for the first time in what felt like an eternity. No fights to prepare for, no enemies to fend off. Just a quiet morning, a cup of coffee, and some toast. Kyanite relished the simplicity, knowing that soon enough, duty would call her back to the fray. But for now, she was content to enjoy this fleeting moment of peace. Opposite of her was an empty chair. Kyanite lifted up both feet and gently settled them onto the seat. Now this right here was pure bliss.
"Could this get any better?"

North City, while it might've seemed far from his home in West City it really wasn't when one had the ability to fly. While Kira didn't often venture to North City, his parents were having an event that he wanted to poke his head in an attend. While it really hadn't been his thing, he hadn't been visiting his parents that often as of late and figured a surprise visit where they least expected him would've been the most ideal thing. It was a positive, they didn't expect to see him there and he gave them a huge surprise. Though once he was finished with that, he couldn't help but want an unhealthy drink from a coffee shop. It was a bright and beautiful day out and Kira would've pulled up to the front of the shop on his motorcycle. While he didn't mind flying from big city to big city, he most often liked navigating the cities with his motorcycle. He didn't want to bring a whole bunch of attention to himself. The best way to avoid attention was to not display his mastery of Ki. The less he flew around the less people would stare and that was to his liking. Walking into the coffee shop, he walked up to the counter and greeted the worker with the biggest smile he could. Today had been a beautiful and sunny day, he couldn't help but smile with the sun shining down the way it was. "Yeah, Could I get an Ice cap please?" Shortly after, Kira would've paid up and taken his freshly made cold beverage and make his way outside to the front patio. He glanced at his bike and chuckled briefly, even shaking his head lightly. He couldn't exactly just ride his bike out of here with a drink in his hand. That wasn't exactly the most convenient. Looking to his right he would've seen a woman sitting alone. She was rather gorgeous and looked rather relaxed, yet she was all alone and he couldn't help but wonder if she wanted company. Now this wasn't based on her looks, this was simply Kira trying to socialize a little bit. He walked over to the woman and offered her the biggest smile in the world. It might've even been the warmest and most friendly smile that the planet Earth had to offer. "Hello! Would you like some company?" While he thought of saying his name, he figured that had been rather pointless until she actually stated she wanted some company. Now if she denied the company, Kira would've simply moved along and gotten a seat elsewhere. Maybe head down to a local park or something and leave the bike here for a few minutes. However, he couldn't help but think she'd say yes. The day was bright and sunny, who wanted to sit alone on a day like this? Worst case, they would've annoyed each other. Best case? They could've had a nice conversation and learned something new.

Kyanite's eyelids were closing until she heard a voice spoke out to her. The cyborg's expression didn't waver, but she felt her peace and serenity for isolation crushed. If only I had my eyes closed then. If I didn't move, whoever's in front of me me would've walked off. But she couldn't do it. She looked up and noticed a tall, green haired man with eyes of the same color that stood before her. He was fairly muscular with an all green outside to fit the reoccurring theme consisting of one color. Was it just her or did this guy really love the color green?
The cyborg cracked an amused smirk at the other man as he asked to sit with her. Look at him, he looked completely harmless despite his build. She almost pitied him no matter how genuine and cordial his smile appeared. Was it worth it to be an absolute contemptible woman as a means to return back to her alone time? She could be rude, attract nasty stares and shocked whispers, or she could return the same energy and accept his offer. The worst she could've said was no and let him move on, but no, she had an even worse idea without making much of a scene.
"'Course. From such a sweet, kind looking gentleman like yourself, how could I say no?" Kyanite spoke softly to the boy, her smirk then widened into delivering the same smile. The cyborg pulled both feet from the chair to let the boy sit down, but not before she swung one of her feet at the legs furniture with moderate force. It wasn't to a point where the chair was sent flying across the street, but instead to where it was knocked and tumbled to the ground, a few inches from her table. Her smile still in tact, Kyanite gestured her hand to the fallen chair and gave a soft nod.
"By all means, stay for a while." Kyanite said.

He couldn't help but have a more genuine smile after her compliment but he wasn't quite sure how to take it. If he were being honest with himself, he was terrible when it came to reading compliments when they came from the opposite gender. His mind couldn't help but wander to whether she was just being nice or if she was flirting. Of course, he had no intent on flirting here but he couldn't help but get a slight shade of red glowing within his cheeks. Maybe it was simply just because he was young or maybe it was the fact that he was inexperienced. Her tone had been soft, gentle and rather welcoming. He couldn't help but think that her answer had been genuine.
He slid the chair out before taking a seat across from her. He rested his drink down on the table after taking a small sip of it. The easy part was asking whether or not he could join her but now was the time for that hard part. He wasn't exactly good at this type of interaction. If she had been in trouble or had been causing trouble, he'd have no issues with finding the right words to say or the right actions to take but this? How was he supposed to make small talk? While he wasn't good at this part of it all, he was more than happy to have a chance to get some practice. The chances of them crossing paths again had been slim to none, so what the hell, right? Practice made perfect after all.
Here it goes, he thought to himself before he started making small talk but he did have a little trick. People often liked talking about themselves and what they did and now while he wasn't going to dig deep and get personal about anything, he had the perfect idea of a topic to bring up. "My names Kira by the way but... beautiful day here in North City, You a resident and get to enjoy these types of days often or are you just visiting?"
He thought this was something good to talk about as it was the most basic thing he could think of and it wasn't too personal. It was also an easy enough question to dodge the true answer if she so decided. She could've deflected and just said passing through, work, whatever. Kira wasn't going to push for an answer and maybe he was overthinking everything but that was likely just the boys nerves. He wasn't good at this. Casually starting conversations at a coffee shop hadn't been easy for him. He had spent too much time doing martial arts and not enough time talking to women while he was in school and now, while he was capable of fighting to a minor degree, he had been incapable of talking to the opposite sex. Hopefully, he was nailing it though and hopefully she'd be patient with him if he was out of line.

"Kira, eh?" Kyanite echoed his name to get a good hold on pronunciation. She eyed at the boy for another short moment before she mentally shrugged her soldiers. He looked well trained, but personality wise it looked like he refused to hurt a fly. Could she really be antagonistic, even if the idea had no spiteful resolve? Screw it. I'm already in a good ass mood. No need for me to be a bitch for now. She thought to herself. The cyborg sat up straight to twist her torso, relieving some stiffness as satisfying cracks popped. "Kyanite. The pleasure of meeting you is mine." She said. Staying cordial for the time being was for the best.
Kyanite shook her head as she continued to answer. "Just visiting is all. I actually live in East City, but I used to live here before I moved due to work." Work was in reference to her ties with a well-hidden organization that won't be mentioned, but she was very casual at mentioning the reason for her move. "Guess you could say I felt a little homesick, so I decided to come here to walk down memory lane for my day off." She explained.
"So, what about you? You look like someone that knows how to handle themselves in a fight with those muscles." Kyanite leaned back and crossed her arms. "You some sort of fighter of some sorts? Martial Arts? Or are you someone that's more on the athletic side and stick with sports?" She asked. She was curious with how timid the boy was, so it'd be a big surprise if he were either of those things.

He couldn't help but nod his head casually upon hearing her repeat his name. That was him, Kira the Martial Artist! While he didn't expect to be known at all in the real world, he did have a rather unique name and a very unique set of traits. It wasn't often that there had been an Earthling with green hair and green eyes. Going forward, he had hoped she'd remember the name, even if he was just a martial arts instructor for kids and the most basic levels of the sport. He wasn't one to want his name known far and wide, he just wanted to share his passion with those willing to learn and it was a bonus that he made a career out of it. There wasn't a lot of people in the world that could say they had their dream job but he sure did.
She seemed like a very polite woman and he smiled at the thought of their conversation continuing before he took another sip of his over priced drink. "East City, huh? I haven't been there in ages." He casually stated with a light tone of voice. "Though, You did pick a good day to walk down memory lane. I don't think you could've picked a day much better than this." With the sun out and the overall weather, today was a very beautiful day here in the city. It was almost a blessing the day had turned out so nice. It also seemed as if traffic were at an all time low at the moment so the city was quieter than it usually was.
"As for me.." He trailed off, giving another large smile as his hand ruffled the hair on the back of his head a short moment. "I actually own and run a dojo downtown West City. I'm quite passionate about Martial Arts and quite fortunate I get to share it with the customers. My classes are pretty basic, I run a lot of classes for kids and intro's for adults. Haven't been open long enough to get into advanced techniques yet." He shrugged his shoulders lightly, rather enjoying the fact that he could go off about this. It wasn't very often he had the chance to talk about himself and what he did and while he was going to keep it brief, he was going to get the main stuff out. "Though, I do stick to the sport of it. Don't really enjoy fighting all that much."
Now that he got his piece out, Kira turned it back around to her and what she did. While she mentioned work, she didn't elaborate on it what so ever and he wanted to know. "What about you? What kind of work took you into East City?" Whatever it was, he couldn't help but assume it was an important role for a company. Kira didn't know a lot of people who moved far for work but then again, he hadn't been out of high school that long and most of the people he knew only moved for school.
