As Churri looked for an opportunity to ambush the hybrid warrior, her thoughts before they could form inside of her head was quickly interrupted by homing crystals that seemed determined to make purchase on Churri. In response she summoned a doppelganger to take on the crystals that were coming at her. She wasn't expecting her clone to tank everyone of them, but at least provide her time to sneak up on the hybrid as she followed her Phantom Block technique with lowering her ki enough to make it difficult for Liek and the crystals to track down.
While her clone managed to get rid of one of the crystals, she used the trees to out maneuver the crystals as each of them hit a tree with one of them scraped her right cheek before crashing into another tree. Wincing at the mark that she received, she casually wiped the blood off of her cheeks before coming to a halt. She wasn't sure whether to stick her head out and attack him now or wait to see what other technique he had in stores. She wanted to see whether he was the kind of fighter to expel his resources too quickly or is someone with the brains to figure out what methods to employ. She could feel the sting emanating from her left cheek, courtesy of the energy crystal that she barely dodged. At least it would look badass as a scar as a lot of people think scars are cool these days. Though receiving one isn't very fun but for the most part it wasn't a deep cut.

The girl certainly had some interesting tricks, that was for sure! That clone decoy was quite clever! He couldn’t even tell difference between her and the clone when they split up, something that actually caught him off guard for a moment. However the distraction didn’t last long as he vectored one of his two crystals towards each of the signatures he was sensing. Both took hits, but only one continued to persist after the strike.
That decoy technique was remarkable. It genuinely impressed him that she had come up with such a technique on her own! While most cultures develop and understand the concept of decoys it is exceptionally rare for martial cultures to develop techniques based on the use of decoys. More so for individuals to consider the idea. The Fury had their own line of techniques based on the concept, with the Orgone Mirage, for both offence and defence, but the girl had done so seemingly without any outside influence.
The young man couldn’t help but crack a smile.
Then he felt her energy signature start to shrink considerably. For a moment he panicked, wondering if he’d accidentally landed a lethal blow. His Knightly side lamented the lose of an innocent life and started to consider how to atone for the act. His Demon side started thinking of where to dig the hole. The Saiyan side pointed out that she could be suppressing her energy, earning indignation from the other two. But, sure enough, her energy did stabilise, bringing some relief to the youth.
How was he still able to track her energy? It wasn’t easy, but Liek was used to tracking energy signatures measured in the decimal range as part of his daily routine from his youth. Rabbits where not known for their high power levels, but they did make for good eating. They where also fast. This had forced Liek to learn to track the faintest signatures as they travelled quickly through foliage.
In so doing Liek had applied a selective pressure on the local rabbit population for the last fourteen years that had gradually meant only the fastest bunnies could evade being eaten. Driving the average speed of local rabbits higher and higher.
But she didn’t know any of that, did she?
Deciding to play along the young hybrid started to look around as if searching for the girl, turning his back to her in his feigned inability to find her. An opening for her to show her offensive abilities.
