Zaks had just finished training her body covered in a deep sweat as she tried to catch her breath. If probably did not help that she felt Giddy at her progress of her training. She was becoming stronger by leaps an bounds compared to before now. The heavy weights and the isolation of the ship made sure she was focused on her task. She wished she had been this strong when she had faced Salada... although with what happened there she was glad she still had her tail...Not that she understood what was so damn important about it to her. The ships alarm suddenly raged as it tried to warn the passengers inside of danger. She had not known as the cockpit was set to auto pilot on its course to earth but a huge gravity well had caught the ship in it for a moment. Zaks rushed to the front of the ship to see what was happening her eyes went wide! That gravity well was the Remains of a planet that some how was recently destroyed by something and the debris was affecting the Ship.. "" Warning warning. Collison is imminent. All passengers are advised to strap themselves in and prepare for impact. Warning warning Prepare for impact.""
Zaks did not know what to do as the gravity well was drawing them to it and the only way to escape it was to use its own gravity to sling shot around it... through the debris. "" shit shit... AAHHAH"" Zaks placed her hands on the sides of the ship as its auto pilot tried to dodge all the incoming debris. She hated to admit it but the auto pilot was a much better pilot then herself... but it was not good enough.
"" Are you kidding me... Fuck"" Zaks could see they were about to hit a huge chunk of debris that was sitting directly in there path. This was it she was gonna die in space! Not at home in her bed or a battle field. I am sorry Opherla... The pain of not seeing her again put a huge hole in her chest and set off something inside of her.
Before she even knew what she was doing she channeled her KI into a barrier around the ship. Just in time for the ship to plow straight through the large chunk of Debris. She could felt the barrier hold and start to waver when even more rocks hit it. But it was holding! "" Come on... you got this Girl"" she coaxed the ship to keep doing its job even as she struggled to control her barrier. She had to hold out no matter what but it was so damn hard.
The ship was large and what they were hitting was not soft at all nor was the ship going slow. It was moving fast enough for space travel and that meant each those Rock could destroy the Space craft with ease. As the barrier took more and more hits she could not help but wonder if there was anything else she could do. "" Come on... You got this Zaks.... Come on."" she Kept whispering to herself.
The sweat of using to much Ki was hard to ignore as it slipped down into her eyes making them sting. She clenched this closed as she gritted her teeth as the ships barrier faltered for a moment and the ship took a hit from a random damn Rock. "" Fuck Fuck....."" She whispered as she added even More ki to it. There had to be something she could do.
suddenly she remembered something from the Shipmaster explaining to her about deflectors something she never got. They did not create a barrier like most people Assumed they did. Not they worked by slapping things away from it so that it did not take the full blow. "" What did he say... They spun?"" She muttered to herself grumpily.
Slowly she grabbed her Ki with her mind and caused it to spend around the ship. Zaks felt relief as it became easier to maintain the barrier as it required less to push stuff away from her then to stop it all together. That did not mean it was easy at all as it still took a lot of control just to Keep it up. "" Damnit!... how much"' Suddenly the Ships alarm went off again.
"" We have passed through most of the lethal debris and it is recommended to all occupants to stay seated until told other wise by the captain of the vessel. there is 30 Seconds remaining. 25 seconds remaining, 15 seconds remaining, 5 seconds remaining. ... The Ship has passed the Danger zone. Now would be a good time to check on each other and changed your underwear."" The Ai Announced.
Who the hell had taught it that she could not think straight as her arms went limp and she tried to breath so hard. "" When did i get on my knees?"" she muttered to herself as she realized she really was on her knees. She never realized creating barriers was so hard but now she knew better. but it also had been ... enlightening...
Zaks formed a small barrier even as she struggled to see straight. This little barrier had taught her so much that she knew it was something to treasure for sure. She had such an issue learning to control it she wondered if she should push herself further in barriers..."" No to much to soon. "" She muttered to herself as she went back to the training room.
She would train soon on the ability she had just used until it was perfected but for now it was time to eat. Thankfully the food was in the training room so she did not have to go very far.
