I would like Liek to train under Master Roshi

Liek's Grandmother was well travelled, going all over the Earth during the secret war with the Fury. It is extremely unlikely Master Roshi wouldn't have meddled in the affairs of the J Numbers during their time defending the Earth, and very likely shared his wisdom with them to help them along. Knowing the knowledge would serve Liek some day, she told him stories about the old perverted martial artist, including where he could be found. Having no other real direction Liek would seek him out for training and guidance.

- Liek is the adoptive Grandchild of a young hero Roshi once helped
- Liek wants to become stronger, but also learn new things
- The boy has a pure heart and wants to protect the Earth much like some of Roshi's students of old
- The boy is alone in the world and needs a kind Grandpa to influence him

I would like Liek to become Dende's student.

He had indirect contact with Dende, in which he was directed to talk to the Keeper of Korin's Tower if he felt like seeking him out. Dende did not reveal anything about his identity at this time, merely leaving crumbs for Liek to follow on his own. Following up on these crumbs, Liek sought out the Keepers of Korin's Tower, learned of the tradition of climbing it and took the challenge. At the top he met Korin and undertook to the cat's training. After completing the training Korin told Liek how to find Dende.
