Zaks pulled her self from her bed or really rolled out onto the floor. That Damn alarm clock would not stop ringing from across the room!"" Shut up! She screamed at it as she finally got up to shut the damn machine up and go back to bed. Pulling herself to her feet she marched over to the Desk and slammed her hand down on the button to turn it off. Thank fully it was made for Saiyans so it did not break when she pushed the button roughly. "" Finally the blasted thing is Quiet. "" She muttered to herself as she walked back to her bed angrily as she stared at the bed for a moment. "" Well I wont be going back to sleep if I am being honest with myself now that I have woken up this much.""
It took her a few moments of glaring at her bed wishing she could crawl back into it and sleep just a little longer. But she needed to train more then ever before for the upcoming tournament. And she had just the thing for that. Even if she did not want to get into working on machinery first thing in the morning but she needed to before she did anything else. Were did she put it? Ahh that was right! It was in the Engine room since it needed to be installed there.
Moving through the ship she ducked into the short by her standards hallways until she reached the engine room. Sure enough the box she was looking for was sitting right next to it location to be installed. She could still remember the old man saying he was sorry that he did not have time to install as another Group of Saiyans had taken his time. He would have focused her first but they were there by order of the king. She could not blame him for not finishing his job as they were more then likely warriors sent to the tournament by the King. If he had refused or made a mistake if could cost him his life no matter how good of a ship master that he was. At the least he had mad it easy for her to finish the work.
It would be several hours later and several trips around the ship in order to figure out small problems in the System but she was finally done! Brushing her forearm across her cheek to rub some of the grease away Zaks moved IN front of the console and screen for her Training device. It was gravity machine! They could be built by many Race but most of the time they were not used since they had very little application outside of Space ships or space stations. Of course Zaks was not gonna use it the way they were intended. No she was gonna beef the system up even higher so that she could train in it!
"" If i remember right Saiyans used to come from a planet that held 10X earths gravity and that was just to move around in". It might also suggest why they were such a strong race to begin with since they had to struggle to just move around. Since they ate more then just plants she would assume they were aggressive over the limited food supply that there world had. If she was to guess then it was probably pretty common for Saiyan tribes to fight with each other so often for land. It was this that probably led there Evolution to were they were currently. The truffles never stood a chance when the Saiyans turned on them.
"" No point of getting hung up on the past "" She thought to her self as she started to press many of the button to start the machine up with a loud hum. She watched as countless words passed over the screen and a series of quick instructions on how to run the machine. Reaching over she began to inter the instructions on the machine in order to turn it on. her hands flying over the buttons as she started to set the setting that she would live in until she got back to the earth.
"" Let us see... Lets start at 20 and see how I do. "" Slowly she turned it up each level making it more difficult to move then the last but nothing she would not be able to handle normally. But she was quickly learning that her weights only added to the challenge as they to were affected by them.10 not that bad but she could feel it. 20x she could really feel it now and she had to focus on her movements now in order to keep her self from slamming her fingers on the buttons.
"" No wonder the Saiyan of old were so strong!"" She muttered at the feelings that were pressing down on her from the gravity and the rapid changes. She slowly kept increasing it as she tried to find her limit and soon she tried to reach just a little far and she almost fell on the screen. She had to slam her hands to help hold herself up from the increase. She was not sure how long it took to realize the loud noise she was hearing was her own breathing.
She had not powered up for her training as she normally did it when she started training instead of in another room. How could she have forgotten to? she had felt it as she raised the setting slowly. Maybe she should have fully woke up before she started to work this little project of her. She took a big sigh before she started to slowly power herself up to her full power so she train properly. She had to keep in mind in the future that it was the entire ship.
Now that she was ready for it she powered up the setting to her maximum that she could. She turned the dial until it Reached forty four times earths gravity. She could not help but feel pretty proud of herself as she turned around and headed to the training room with her feet stomping the entire way.

She wished she could say her training started off with her doing some sort of advanced training regime. but really she was just stomping around the ship trying to get it so she could walk normally. She really was growing frustrated with it as she could only move around at a snails pace for a lap. A single lap and she had to fall to her knees to catch her breath and it seemed like she was not getting better at a pace that was satisfactory for her. Here she was the strongest Saiyan that he knew Existed and she was on her Knees like a dog sweating.
She was not sure how long she kept trying to get it so she could just walk standing up straight and could never fully manage it. She almost threw her weights off for that little bit help but Reigned it in. The whole point of this was to get stronger so she would win the martial arts Tournament. Why was she so intent to get stronger? Why did she want to beat all the Saiyans?
She felt confused as she finally hulled herself to her feet one final time as started to go back to the engine room so she could turn the gravity machine off and get ready for bed for the night. As she reached up to turn it off something flickered across her vison to her left. It was the White flower She had been given by her friend that was always in her hair. It seemed to be perfectly fine like it always was. Even though the one that had given it to her was no longer around. It left a empty feeling in her chest... that some one she loved with all her heart was gone. Her regret that she never got to ask her if she felt the same.
She Never got to show her Opherla besides by vidscreen and she never knew just how Kind opherla really was. What if Opherla had crush at the moment? What would she do if the Saiyans came to earth? Zaks Already knew her, Opherla, And Liek would be targeted by the Saiyans. They would not be the only ones but they were far to strong to be allowed to be running lose around the planet. With her pod she could probably escape the planet but what then? Just keep Running? After she left the rest of the Hagan mercs to die? They were all half bloods living together on another world and not brining it into the Saiyan empire. They would be killed or enslaved... There really was no option but to fight or make it so they never came to earth in the first place.
Taking a deep breath she removed her hand from the gravity machine making sure to keep it were it was. She needed to keep her training up so that even when she slept she was training as her body forced it self to breath in the heavy gravity. No matter what she could not stop her training as she prepared to give herself the best chance she could into scaring the Saiyan empire away. She would stand tall so that they knew earth was no push over. She would make it so even if the king himself came to earth they would lose or bleed so badly that there enemies would rush in and wipe them out.
So several notes to know about heavy gravity. If your bed has springs or legs on them... they would not for long as she found out during the night when she destroyed hers. get metal bowls so the weight of the food don't break them and as much as she hated it had to turn the gravity off to eat. But she had turned it straight back on when had finished.
Going out into the training room she Called out to her computer a voice command. "" Gunthor. Call The EDF general AKabaria... or what ever his name was"" Thankfully Gunther already knew who she was trying to call since she had made multiple calls recently but had not managed to catch the busy man. He better not be ignoring her and if he was she would fix that real quick. She did not ignore his calls the bastard.
This time she was in luck right before she hung up the line connected and inside the training room she could see his face on the screen. And he could see her as she was struggling to do a push up. "" Good morning Sir.... I wanted to talk about.... Possibly Joining."" She said cutting to the chase with the elderly General. Something she knew he would respect since they had worked together before. "" Oh really Zaks? ... You have to forgive me since you were so adamant last time not to join under the basic terms..."" Zaks probably would have grimaced if she was not already struggling to do yet another push up with the damn chamber.
She could not blame him as last time she had pretty much done everything in her refusal but flip the man off. But back then she had to be ready to Opherla but she had not felt the need to protect earth like she did now. Now it was her home and she realized it more then she did then. She realized that if she did not do something then it was only a matter of time before the world was gonna be invaded.. by ether the Empire or The PTO.
"General i just want you to know... I went back to Vegeta and had a nice little wake up call. If i don't do something they will or the PTO will come to earth. What then? Turn my head as they start destroying the world. Run from this world as well?.... The group i am trying to protect wont all fit on the ship... they would be targeted for just being slightly stronger then the soldier of earth. "" Zaks came up out of her push up postion so she could look the general in the eyes as she explained her mindset before the man.
"" So what you are telling me that is... You now have a reason to fight for earth and view it as your home. That would be a very big change Zaks.... You know there is only one other on this planet i would allow to call me about joining as i do not have time for this normally. But... Honestly i Should be telling you anything that i thought you wanted to hear as your power alone is worth it... But I am gonna tell you the right thing. You should only join if you are sure... We will do our best to help you defend the earth... You are in a class all of your own. You would be the strongest most powerful warrior we have.""
The general thought about something for a moment before looking at Zaks in the Eyes. "" You Would become a symbol for us if you managed to show just how strong you are at the tournament... you would never have another moment of peace... reporters would flock to you .. you would become a Celeberty overnight. Are you sure of this... The others will try to play politics with you. If you join i will try my very best to help you do your damn Job. Zaks... I will be frank we need you."" With that admission the General stopped talking as he waited to hear back from the warrior that was before him.
Zaks on the other hand was realizing what her joining would actually mean for her and her life. It would probably never be hers again and that was not even counting the missions they would be sending her on all the time. She had never considered that aspect of it before as there was nothing exactly like that on Vegeta.
"" General.... Draw the Contracts i will drop by and review them when i arrive on earth soon."" The General looked shocked for a min realizing that she was calling him from Space. Of course he connected the Dots quickly that she was still on her way back from Vegeta. "" Will you make it back in time?"" he Asked hesitantly.
"" Short answer general is I will be there in time."" She had already checked her course and she would arrive with plenty time to spare. She knew he would understand and did not bring that up with him. But she grew a Cheeky smile for a moment as she looked at him "" Sir"" she added making him slowly smile. It was not a full 100% yes but it was a good indicator of how she felt. "" Well General I need to get back to training.. I am at 44x earths Gravity and need to raise it higher... Btw mind helping find some for that when i get to earth?"" She asked.
"" I am sure i can find some one ..Miss Luna.""
Zaks was happy that she was finally getting some were in training in the gravity as she now could walk at a brisk pace under the affects of the gravity and do some simple workouts. But she would not be happy until she was strong enough to fight in this gravity! Just standing tall was not something for her to be proud of just yet.
But there was thing she was learning while under the affects of the Gravity and that was her defensive training. Normally it was easy to project her Ki From her entire body to create her Barrier. But now she could not longer do that thanks to her having to use so much just to stand up. But she could focus it out through her hands but not large enough to form a good Barrier or control it good enough to shield herself. but it did show her were she concentrated her Ki easily and she was sure she could use it to control the rest of it later as she got more control.
Her mind was already racing as she realized if she pictured it like she were she projected like were it left her hands it would be stronger there. It would help by allowing her to force her barrier to focus more of its power at the Epicenter of an attack with much less focused thought from Zaks. with everything else she was training it would be a while she could put the final touches on such training. But it was hearting to see she was still learning more about her Own abilities.
The only thing she could do now was constantly project her barrier While she moved about the training room and while it was hard she saw results constantly as could regulate her Ki at a rate she had before. it was almost like something was there that she was learning to control and it almost felt like when her eye was open fully. She kept feeling it and when her mind focused but... Stronger. Focused but she still could not grasp it fully. "" Maybe it was something like her eye? When she had first start fighting he had not been able to use it properly and maybe that was it? "" She thought to herself. Maybe She was to weak to use it...or was it her ability to focus her power?
"" From now on I guess I need to focus on both my physical body and my mental one. What ever i am feeling cant be just a small thing. Maybe I will need to really watch myself if I can push my Evolved Eye? was it further then it went now? But Even then that would be useful in a fight if she could push her power to new Heights. Even limited that would give her an edge she did not have now and maybe even allow her to change the tide of a battle in her Favor.
Maybe she should go back to all the training she had growing up. She remembered Dakion teaching her before he had lost his mind. She could remember his exercises for her to follow every day. And As she did them now she could not help herself but falling back into those memories .
She had been only 12 years old but already almost to his nose in height her hair was cut short. Not something she had done herself but the Elites had done it to her for being a half breed. The Elite children liked to target her and Daikon was showing her how to defend herself when they tried it again. Something she had later been able to.
""Remember not to hold back when you fight Lucetia. There is no reason to hold back if some one forces you to fight as it is there own fault for starting it. Plus they call themselves Elites then they should have no problem with dealing with you. At worse they beat you to the Edge of your life and you will emerge stronger then ever before. After all you have a Saiyans blood running through your Veins. Now come on! Attack me!""
With that The Child abandoned by so many With nothing but the Rags afforded to the poorest of saiyans tried to attack the Saiyan Veteran. She held nothing back but it did little to help her as Daikon Brought his elbow down on her head smashing her face first into the dirt. In true Saiyan Fashion he then proceeded to kick her in the chest while she was down. "" Fight back damn you!"" He cried as he pursued her to attack her again.
Thinking back on it Zaks knew he was teaching her how harsh battles could be and be able to endure damage so she could keep fight when she was hurt. No warrior of another world would allow a saiyan to recover if they could help it. It was one of the many facts about being a real warrior.
Of course Zaks had been to slow and he had grabbed her neck and slammed her back into the ground Suffocating her. She struggled for a few moments before she saw her Chance as his tail moved before her eyes. Just liek she had done in her last fight she grabbed his tail knowing that he would have to let go when she got her hands on his tail.
Why?... Why was her Vison still going dark? why was he still able to choke her! She had his tail! her eyes franticly searched for the answer for a moment before daikon showed her a kindness and explain it to her. "" You can train your tail to ignore..."" He never got to Finish his sentence as Zaks in a panic Bit the only thing she could. Daikons tail!. While it was true his tail was trained from being grabbed that did not mean it could not be hurt. Apparently a anger Childs teeth could still make the older warrior scream in pain and let her go when he chucked her away from him. """ OWWW YOU BIT ME YOU LITTLE!""
Zaks was still trying to recover as she coughed her self trying to recover from his hold on her neck. of course he still did not let up as he kicked her in the stomach again knocking what little she had recovered to escape her longs. It was also far to much for the young warrior to handle as she passed out from lack of air as she failed to draw breath after his attack.
It was later that day that she woke up in a...soft bed? Were was she? The only time she ever slept on a good bed was when she was taking over a planet and stole a bed. Sitting up she turned her head slow as she took in the room around her her eyes warry. Suddenly a loud scream could be heard down stairs.
"" What do you mean you knocked her out! Your a Middle class warrior! she is a half-bred low ranking warrior! They did not even see it fit to put armor on her when they sent her on her Second mission. She came back wearing what ever the warriors of that world wore! Yet here you are hitting and making her pass out on her first day of training with you? Does she even know how to throw a proper punch or is she just swinging at random.? Well father!""
She realized slowly that endo was yelling at Daikon down stairs and from what she knew from her memories it was this little mess up if why Endo had taken her into her training. She had been the one to Make her get something better then the brown rags she had been given and got her some old fashion armor. It had been new but made and placed into a warehouse for years until they had been given to her.
Of course that did not mean that Daikon had stopped training her and being just as harsh but... Endo had stopped by day after day to teach her how to fight and even had her team help teach her. But she was an Squad leader and often gone on mission for the empire.
She could not help but grin to her self as she tried to do her first flip and landed harshly on her own back as she slipped on her landing. As she got up she could still Remember Endo teaching her to do flips and to streaech properly. It was that influence that had taught her not to be so stiff in combat despite her frame. As she got older it was endo who had taught her things.. more then just how to fight.
Despite what other races thought Saiyan women did value there appearance. They did not focus it as they had several natural tendency's that made it harder then other races. There hair having minds of there own was a big one for sure. something Zaks did not have as her hair was long and straight naturally. Endo had loved to style it and the one who had come up with her current style... just smaller as her hair had been always cut short until she had come to earth. She intentionally made it puffy to make it stay out of her face for the most part when she fought.
God she missed them both. Her slight hesitation made her stumble yet again when she tried to flip and once again she landed on her back. God damnit that was starting to hurt! It was so frustrating to fall on her back or head so many times over and over as she practiced her mobility. She wanted to stop but she had learned early that if you did not keep your mobility while you built your muscle you would end up stiffer. Zaks was already a big target the last thing she did not want was not able to avoid blows. Or Ki blasts.
She had a few scars from when she had not managed to avoid other attacks and she did not want to add anymore then she had to. After all Zaks had learned to like her looks on earth when the few humans had hit on her. Not that they were what she was looking for but it was nice to hear compliments.
it had taken several hours but she finally had it down! She could finally use her full range of motion and do her acrobatics around the training room. While she was still having a hard time flying around the ship with the gravity being so high. the same could not be said about her full ground motion. While it felt clunky and sluggish she had full ability to use any of her mobility.
It was time to take a break. What should she do while she rested her body just a little bit? AHH! "" I should send a message home. I bet Opherla will love to receive something from me.
Heading back tot he console Zaks pushed some buttons on her console and set it to record a message to be sent out when there was a chance. Honest the message might even send until she was back on earth as Opherla did not have state of the art tech like the general had. As the screen counted down she prepared her best smile and looked at the Camara.
"" How are you doing Kiddo? I am sorry for being gone so long but i really needed to go back and take care of something. Do you remember her the one I used to show you on the Video... The one you saw Save us that day? Well I had to bury her or at least honor her one last time. I fear that after this tournament we wont be allowed to return to Vegeta. After all... We are gonna Beat the Saiyans at the tournament! I hope you been training!""
She looked to her left and pointed at a since tower that seemed to go from the floor to the Ceiling directly in the center of the room she was in. "" Take a look at this! I had this installed on the ship and its a gravity machine! I am training every step i take every day! Your gonna love it! you can come over and use it any time you want... But that does remind me... This ship is your home to and i even have a room prepared for you when you visit or live here. ""
Zaks Hesitated as she was not really sure what to say. She was not the best at sending messages and always wondered if it bothered Opherla with how disconnected some times. She knew that Opherla loved her but that did not mean she wanted more from her mother and it was something she recently had come to worry about. It probably had to do with her leaving the nest so to speak but Zaks could not help but wonder if it was Opherla putting some distance from her.
"" I hope you been doing good and I heard a little bird sent you see master Roshi. I think it is funny since i am also training under him... He i think is a good man...but a perv. But i am sure by now you already know that. I almost have the Kamehameha learned myself! You better have been putting that training to good use. Any way I... Well I love you Opherla. You take care.""
With that Zaks stood up and walked over to turn the recording off and to send the message. She had no idea if it would even reach her but if it did then she was happy. It was not to much longer before she would reach earth herself and if nothing else she could tell her that she loved her in person rather then having a recording tell her. She was very proud of her daughter for being so much stronger then her when she was the Same age. She had the power and hidden ability to surpass her easily if she focused it. But if she didn't and decided to live her life her way... then she would be happy for her and train to make sure she was safe.
If the Saiyan did come to earth then she would show them what they lost all those years ago when some of there Elites got themselves in a tiffy about some half breed that was climbing the ranks of the Saiyans army ladder. If she had the ability then they should be glad that she had been sired but instead they let there foolish pride blind them.
Now that She was getting used to the gravity even as it punished her body so heavy to live in it constantly she needed to up her game as much as she could. Today she was gonna practice flying and fighting the small drones in the training bay. She smiled at the thought of an actual challenge instead of just swinging her fists at thin air.
It would not normally be a challenge to fight these small drones but in this gravity she bet the little bastards were gonna shock the shit out of her often. They were state of the art in the Saiyan empire as they were not affected by the gravity field that she would be training inside of. This would make them very fast with out hard she was gonna struggle to catch them during the training. But that was the point.
She set them up to turning in 30 seconds and waited as close to the middle as she could for them to turn on. There was 4 of them total and once they activated they would sail around the training room until she destroyed them or called for them to turn them off by a simple command. "" Stop"" It was simple for a reason so that it would not be confusing to make them not attack her when she was done training. or if something just so happened to happen like her placing the Gravity chamber on to high of a setting and unable to get up.
With a slight ticking noise they all leapt up into the air and started to soar around the room as they targeted her and began to talk to each other using radio waves. Zaks was quick to follow suit and leap into the air and fly around the room as she ducked one of the drones. They were so much faster then her it was not even funny and she wondered why would they had not attack her yet.
What are they doing?"" No sooner then she said that she felt a searing pain go across her back as one of them had snuck up on her and Zapped her from behind."" Ugghh"" She growled out as she recovered from the attack and realized no matter what she did she would never catch them with just her hand. She started by fending them off even as they constantly tried to aim for her blind spots.
She Struggled hour after hour from the little bots before she had to give up for a while and send them back to the box to be recharged and used later. It had been a great workout if she to be honest with herself. Sure the bots had whipped her pretty soundly but they were meant to do that. After all training vs things that are easy or weaker then you rare showed great results. She never understood Saiyans who bragged about killing civilians and how always let them escape herself. There was nothing to be gained to kill those who fled .
Although now she was pretty sure she could never invade another world. She would never be able to hurt some one who begged for the children again or attack warriors who were defending the women and children. She was just no longer a heartless monster.
Although she was training and she should focus on the task at hand. If she had she might have noticed them all attack her at once and avoided the shock of all four of the little robots that actually really hurt. She could not stop herself as she fell out of the air down on to the floor. Her Knees hit first and she almost bit her tonged from the pain of the increased gravity. The Damn little bots needed there stupid little heads smashed in She raged internally.
Standing back up again she then floated into the air and Screamed her Defiance at the little drones before she charged after them again before they all flew in different directions to confuse her...and it worked...
Her training was starting to pay of as she could move more and more Freeling even with the Gravity machine turned on all the way. She knew That she should turn up the machines gravity as they had advanced to a further stage but could not since there was a fault in the damn thing. it was taking up to much power and if she did she could arrive late as it would effect the power of the Space ships Engine. It was a sad fact but she needed to let her training suffer just a little bit in order to complete her goal and arrive at the tournament on time.
She honestly could feel the something changing within her now as her body changed slowly. A clarity was starting to form in her mind and her body was responding so much better then ever before. something was changing and she was not sure what it was but whatever it was it was definitely for the better. She could not just ignore it as it might be something that makes her stronger then ever. She had not really listened or paid attention when her eye was first awakening and if she had maybe her friend would till be alive.
Sitting down were she could she focused her mind in peace Zaks took a deep breath in letting the air flow around for a more then a few moments before letting out her breath. She would repeat this step several times before she allowed herself to relax and focus her Ki through her body. But why was it resisting her controlling it and focusing it.? She was trying to bring it to her Ki center but it was fighting it.
This was odd since Zaks never had her Ki actively fight her before now. before now her Ki worked the best when it was focused from her core in her chest but now it seemed to want to go to her head. Maybe she should let it go were it wanted to? With a deep breath she allowed it to go were it wanted or at least a small portion of it. Maybe it would tell her something as it traveled up to her head. She thought for a second it would go to her mind but it didn't. No it went for her eyes of all things. No she should be surprised at all since she could open her eye all the way and become stronger.
She let it gather in her eyes for a little while before she tried to open her eyes fully or truly she guessed and suddenly felt the surge throughout her body. She Scream as it burst from her eyes releasing a golden light from her eyes and pain rocketed through her eyes and down to her body. The pain was brutal it felt like some one had placed a needle in her eyes and was digging around now. Her skin felt like it was on fire but it was nothing compared to what was happening to her eyes. She could no longer control were her Ki was going as it all rushed her eyes making her pain even worse.
She could no longer See and a thought of that she had blinded herself surfaced. Why had she allowed something that she knew was different and dangerous to happen to. Suddenly there was no pain at all. Slowly she realized she was blinking her eyes as her vison returned but everything was off and it took her a moment to place it. She could see just like when she fully opened her eye except...better. It was like using a pair of Goggles under water when you had lived your entire life without and the world became clearer. it was like every single object gave of a unique reflection each and nothing ever looked the same again.
She turned her head and realized how easy it was to do so. She was easily able to turn her head regardless of the gravity machine being turned on as if there was no machine or weights on her body it really was freighting. Lifting her hands up she could only stare at them in wonder as she was able to see the power in them. It was like there was a greenish sliver light leaving her body slowly like a persons aura that surrounds them when they use there full power. Yet with her eyes she could see small bits constantly leaving her. "" Did i evolve into something new?""
Slowly she stood up and looked around as she tried to adjust to the new power that was running through her body at that very moment. If she had to Guess her new power was... high and maybe only the King of vegeta could challenge her but even then she was not sure. Trying to guess power levels when you never saw some use there full power was a recipe for disaster. No she still needed to keep her training going but now... she should focus on the Technique side of things as this new power was hard to control.
Luckily for her she had the perfect idea on how she could do it. She had issues before using her barrier inside of the gravity of the ship but that did not matter now as her Ki seemed to be in a much more stable sequence then it had ever been. She could not help but realize just much stronger her Ki was as it responded very quickly to her commands. but she could not really fine control its movements yet. So that is were she would start by refining her KI to new levels she was not wasting any.
Raising both her hands shoulder height she projected her barrier around her and used every trick she knew to control it. It was working but it was draining way more ki then she would like so she needed to fix that. Slowly she started to refine her barrier and use less and less ki even as it went all over the place with all the tricks she knew. but the newest trick were the barrier reacted to what was hitting it and growing stronger in the center of the attack. It worked! She could see her own blasts being deflected by her barrier and it holding much easier then she had ever planed to before now. with this she was sure she could make a perfected barrier! or at least the strongest she could produce at this exact moment.

As Zaks Kept her training up all the way until she was near earth and now she was wondering what was gonna happen now that she had changed yet again. Her eyes were different then before and as before she had silver eyes or red depending on her state but now? The silver eye had turned golden and She did not know what to think about that. She had always liked her sliver yes and now that they were gone she was not sure how she should feel about that. Not that golden eyes were not bad as well but it did make some really getting used to.
Was this power that everyone went through or was there something in her blood probably the Cearlian side if she had to take a guess as she never heard a saiyan undergo a transformation like this before. Maybe this power surge was the two blood lines working with one another . It made he feel a little special but also a little sad to see that her power was purely from her blood lines and not. She had wanted to be the one to find it.
Zaks had been focusing on this awakening her for a little while now as she was in the final leg of her journey to earth. There was so much of it she still did not understand but she was gonna try her best to find out before the tournament that was set to be under way in a few hours. She let her Ki flow more naturally then she had ever before almost directly opposite of what she had learned growing up as a saiyan warrior. The warrior training had taught her how to feel her Ki and to take control of it. But what she had noticed with this little change within herself was a very different story.
This new change was more along the lines of directing the flow of her Ki through her eyes rather forcing it to do what she wanted. This flow did not fight her and actually allowed her to push more Ki in a direction then she had been able to before. It was almost like rivers or streams of Ki flowed within her body or maybe Viens. All had a direction that they wanted to go in and if they followed those routes the Ki flowed better and stronger then it did then if she dragged it were she wanted to, All she pretty much had to do was direct it.
another odd thing was her Core had been the point were all of her Ki gathered before like a well that she would dip into. Now? it was like she had two different wells one in her eyes and the one in her gut. The one in her eyes was smaller but flowed more Easy then the one in her gut almost like a dam that would create a lake to be stored from the river upstream.
Now the difference in her body physical shape was astounding as it never felt lighter then it did now and responded to her commands much more quickly then ever before. It was almost like her Ki up until this point had been weakening her and she honestly did not understand it exactly. Why would just learning the flow of her Ki make her physical body change so much? She could do all the things she struggled with under the effects of the gravity machine with ease. She needed to find a way to increase the gravity machines effects and find some heavier weights.
Pulling he Ki out she let it leave her body and flow out to the weight sets nearby and wash over them. Slowly they rose into the air and spun slowly as she focused on her Ki and her ability to control it. This form of meditation training was something that master roshi had taught her during her brief time with him. It was a way to better focus her Ki and he had explained to her when she got more control of it that her body would evolve with it.
Ohh Duh. What ever had happened to her was exactly as master roshi had described to her. It was an awakening that her entire body was experiencing with her new found sense with her own Ki. She had not realized it until that moment what it meant and she felt a little foolish for not understanding it. "" I guess i will have to tell the old man thank you later for telling me about this. I don't think it is the exact same but well it will still nice to realize she was not crazy so to speak. She really wanted to increase her power even further and now she had another way to do that besides just picking up some heavy things.
slowly she started to control were all the weights went around her like multiple heavy objects flowing around her like she was the center of a tornado and she was the eye of the storm so to speak. that was another thing she noticed as he power flowed around through her it seemed to make her mind even more clear then it was ever before. she could focus on more then just one thing going on around her and not struggle. Before this it was hard to do more then one thing for Zaks and she often struggled with simple things if she had to multi task in her training.
Training Opherla had been hard for Zaks since she had to put her own training on halt to exam her or explain it to her. This was not something had ever told the girl as it was not her fault Zaks could not multi task worth shit. but now it was so easy! She could lift the Weights with her Ki get up and start doing her stretching exercises at the same time! To top it off her mind was still free to consider other thoughts! Just like what she was doing now! stretching her body to make sure it was still flexible all the while she was doing the meditation master Roshi had taught her.
When she got back she had to see what master roshi would say about these changes and maybe the old man would know how to push her further then ever before? She would love it if he could push her in another direction if she was being honest. Sure she could still train herself but it was mostly gonna be trial and error from now as she needed something to increase her power when it was already so high. He was the one that had taught her how to sense Ki in the world around her and he had started her in the ability to control her Ki. It was not to much of a stretch to say the biggest change to her was how she handled her KI and how it affected her. She was sure the old man could figure out how to further her training to the next level..
Sudden the alarm letting her know she was close to earth went off making her turn her head to see what it was. A small smile appeared on her face as she realized she was home! she was finally fucking home! She could see everyone before the tournament! She could hug Little opherla and see how she was doing. She had been only gone for a little over a weak but it seemed like she had been gone months and she had changed so drasticly that it was not even funny.
She wondered how They would handle it? she was already considered the strongest on earth but now... now she was in a whole new level that would make the strongest in the galaxy stop and think twice before fighting her. This was something that brought a small smile to her face and she knew she could take pride in it. although she had to admit she was worried still with the tournament looming over them. After all fighting Callion had awoken something in both of them. they both had walked away changed from there fight and she was not sure that some one else in the Saiyan race had risen to meet her challenge. Callion had proved to her that they or at the very least him and become somthing more then they ever were before.
Salada had proven to be what she expected from Elites and while Callion had destroyed what she had expected from Elites. The contrast between the two had shaken her faith in the idea that she hated all Elites. Even Salada in her own way had impressed her with her power and will power. Though to be honest she should not have been surprised as one thing all Saiyans had was an excess in will power compared to other races.
Soon she came into range of earths sensors and she started to receive hails from the earth government asking who she was. It was simple to press a few buttons on the monitor to send her Documentation to get her landing on earth cleared though she had to admit she saw nothing but paying respect to the government to do so. It was not like earth had any real way to defend itself except its ground armies and it was even easier to move past the sensors coverage. Earth had more money then many worlds yet they did not spend nearly enough of it on there defenses. it was something that would always bother her.
She knew she was a Saiyan and had grown up pretty much fighting wars around the galaxy but it still bothered her how others too there defense for granted. She had seen to many Worlds destroyed.. no that was not right,. she had destroyed to many worlds for her to ever take her life for granted and she would always focus on getting stronger so those around her could live there lives of peace. But it was time to start thing about her future.
The ship started to shake as it reentered earths atmosphere and became a flaming comet as it flew down to north city down below. The ship while Saiayan was of good design as she never felt it heat up or shake that badly as it descended from the heavens and joined down below it. Looking out the window at the sight of earth Zaks felt her heart swell. it was her new home and it was beautiful. She would make sure it stayed that way with ever fiber of her being. She had enjoyed returning to her home world but it had not been her home unlike earth was to her now. The Bright blues and greens made her want to just enjoy the view a moment long.
Vegeta was beautiful in its own way with how rugged the world was. The planet breed strength and survival of the fittest compared to earth but that had its own charms that only some people could under stand. she had been born there so she could easily see it but if she had taken some one from earth there she doubted they would understand the oozru wastes and how the barren landscape helped countless warriors overcome there desire to turn into great apes and level everything around them.

Welcome to earth."" The man on the radio said as the ship followed the updated instruction easily.
Oh she guessed she should turn off the gravity machine. it would be funny to watch the earthlings get smashed when they came on board but she had a feeling she might get in trouble with them if that was the case. She quickly ran to the engineering room to shut off the Gravity and mahine even as she heard the ship receive clamps to hold it in place at the space yard. it still would be several hours before she was allowed to leave the ship. The ship was new and she needed to register it and pay all the few with using the dock here. Sure she could land any were but since this had been it maiden flieght there had been several kinks in the system and the workers here would go a long way on repairing those for her.
"" Dock command. transferring over the work plan and requests that are needed for a ships first flight. I am sorry but i am gonna need a Qoute on how to repair and fix some things. all the systems on board are not the friendliest.
Zaks slowly entered all the commands needed for the ship to allow the dock Access to its systems so they could do there own work on it. they would need to get into the computers to see what the issues were and what they good so about it. But she was sure they could handle it now that she had given them permission to.
slowly she Exited the ship and waved to the supervisor nearby to catch he mans attention. "" Hey sir how is it going?"" she asked with a friendly smile to the older man. Thankfully he seemed to be the happy type rather then the gruff foremen that often ran crews. "" They there how are you doing? don't worry about your ship we will call you later to let you know what will be needed for it. Enjoy some time off in the city and welcome to earth. To his kind response she merely smiled and nodded her acceptance. It did little to let them know she was from earth now as she did not look the part at all. Standing at her height getting of a space ship? HAH. aliens were a lot more common on earth the Vegeta but they were not that common. But she would take him up on his advice later.
Now she went back to her ship and flipped the gravity machine back on after she placed a warning sign on the door. She wanted to do a little more training before she head off to the tournament. It was mostly to relax her herself before but she did. she wanted the gravity as it was what she was used to living in and she mostly wanted to stretch her muscles after forcing them to work so hard for so long. slowly she sat down on the hard ground below her and bent her back as if she was trying to grab her own feet arching it in a way that would make most people cringe.
Zaks had kept herself nimble as she could ever sense endo had beat it into her skull that her size while it gave her power. Its draw back was that she was not as flexible as other and she had taken that personally at that age. She hated to be told back then she was weaker then others or any other Saiyan warrior. she had been eager to prove herself to everyone else that her mixed blood line did not make her weaker then anyone else. The habit of stretching had stuck with her as she grew up and turned into something very Useful for her in combat. The habit had given her Kicks a lot more power and her movement were much hard to predict.
Moving on to the next pose focusing on her hamstrings as she sat down and tried to hold her toes only to feel the muscle tense painfully. "" OF course i haven't been stretching properly with all the weight training that i have done. It was not surprising with all the muscle she had put on that she would fall behind in other areas. It was something she would have to correct when she had the chance to and maybe she would ask the old man to help her.
Why not she was already gonna be asking for a lot of help as it was. She needed to master the Kamehahah still and see if he had any pointers on how to refine her Ki control. It had been a big increase of power in both terms of raw power and Technique in her grow recently. Maybe he would help her step in the right direction for the next enlightenment? or maybe she should consider it a transformation. Like her eye.... after a moment she smiled. How much stronger would she get if she opened her eye again? "" Lets find out. ""
From her position she tried to fully open her eye to see her new power level...except nothing happened. her vison did not get better and her power did not increase... no it just felt like something was missing compared to before. Like suddenly the muscles was gone and she could not even truly recall how she did it anymore. "" What is going on... It cant be.."" Zaks ran to a mirror on the ship and stared at herself in shock.
The woman before her was definitely her but there was small changes that she could see that were not there before. Her eyes stuck out to her as they had taken on her transformed appearance but she could not make it resend back to her silver that was her original color. Was it that she had gotten strong enough and her eye fully opened... permanently? It would explain her increase in power for sure. She could never keep her eye open for long as it caused her great pain.
"" So this power up was me finally able to channel my power properly... i never realized just how much it was not controlled."" she murmured to her self as she touched her face in fascination. This entire time her need for power after her death had driven her to use a power she was not ready for. It was... Sad that she had assumed it was just a normal thing but it really had not been. she wondered what other abilities she had that she did not know about since she was raised a Saiyan.
"" when everything has settled i will need to find some Cearlans and learn about my heritage fully... .I don't think this is my Saiyan side coming out. Maybe there is something that they can help me learn... at the very least i should know if it will cause any problems. Maybe Barley from the village will help me. It took her a few moments of glaring at her bed wishing she could crawl back into it and sleep just a little longer. But she needed to train more then ever before for the upcoming tournament. And she had just the thing for that. Even if she did not want to get into working on machinery first thing in the morning but she needed to before she did anything else. Were did she put it? Ahh that was right! It was in the Engine room since it needed to be installed there.
Moving through the ship she ducked into the short by her standards hallways until she reached the engine room. Sure enough the box she was looking for was sitting right next to it location to be installed. She could still remember the old man saying he was sorry that he did not have time to install as another Group of Saiyans had taken his time. He would have focused her first but they were there by order of the king. She could not blame him for not finishing his job as they were more then likely warriors sent to the tournament by the King. If he had refused or made a mistake if could cost him his life no matter how good of a ship master that he was. At the least he had mad it easy for her to finish the work.
It would be several hours later and several trips around the ship in order to figure out small problems in the System but she was finally done! Brushing her forearm across her cheek to rub some of the grease away Zaks moved IN front of the console and screen for her Training device. It was gravity machine! They could be built by many Race but most of the time they were not used since they had very little application outside of Space ships or space stations. Of course Zaks was not gonna use it the way they were intended. No she was gonna beef the system up even higher so that she could train in it!
"" If i remember right Saiyans used to come from a planet that held 10X earths gravity and that was just to move around in". It might also suggest why they were such a strong race to begin with since they had to struggle to just move around. Since they ate more then just plants she would assume they were aggressive over the limited food supply that there world had. If she was to guess then it was probably pretty common for Saiyan tribes to fight with each other so often for land. It was this that probably led there Evolution to were they were currently. The truffles never stood a chance when the Saiyans turned on them.
"" No point of getting hung up on the past "" She thought to her self as she started to press many of the button to start the machine up with a loud hum. She watched as countless words passed over the screen and a series of quick instructions on how to run the machine. Reaching over she began to inter the instructions on the machine in order to turn it on. her hands flying over the buttons as she started to set the setting that she would live in until she got back to the earth.
"" Let us see... Lets start at 20 and see how I do. "" Slowly she turned it up each level making it more difficult to move then the last but nothing she would not be able to handle normally. But she was quickly learning that her weights only added to the challenge as they to were affected by them.10 not that bad but she could feel it. 20x she could really feel it now and she had to focus on her movements now in order to keep her self from slamming her fingers on the buttons.
"" No wonder the Saiyan of old were so strong!"" She muttered at the feelings that were pressing down on her from the gravity and the rapid changes. She slowly kept increasing it as she tried to find her limit and soon she tried to reach just a little far and she almost fell on the screen. She had to slam her hands to help hold herself up from the increase. She was not sure how long it took to realize the loud noise she was hearing was her own breathing.
She had not powered up for her training as she normally did it when she started training instead of in another room. How could she have forgotten to? she had felt it as she raised the setting slowly. Maybe she should have fully woke up before she started to work this little project of her. She took a big sigh before she started to slowly power herself up to her full power so she train properly. She had to keep in mind in the future that it was the entire ship.
Now that she was ready for it she powered up the setting to her maximum that she could. She turned the dial until it Reached forty four times earths gravity. She could not help but feel pretty proud of herself as she turned around and headed to the training room with her feet stomping the entire way.
She wished she could say her training started off with her doing some sort of advanced training regime. but really she was just stomping around the ship trying to get it so she could walk normally. She really was growing frustrated with it as she could only move around at a snails pace for a lap. A single lap and she had to fall to her knees to catch her breath and it seemed like she was not getting better at a pace that was satisfactory for her. Here she was the strongest Saiyan that he knew Existed and she was on her Knees like a dog sweating.
She was not sure how long she kept trying to get it so she could just walk standing up straight and could never fully manage it. She almost threw her weights off for that little bit help but Reigned it in. The whole point of this was to get stronger so she would win the martial arts Tournament. Why was she so intent to get stronger? Why did she want to beat all the Saiyans?
She felt confused as she finally hulled herself to her feet one final time as started to go back to the engine room so she could turn the gravity machine off and get ready for bed for the night. As she reached up to turn it off something flickered across her vison to her left. It was the White flower She had been given by her friend that was always in her hair. It seemed to be perfectly fine like it always was. Even though the one that had given it to her was no longer around. It left a empty feeling in her chest... that some one she loved with all her heart was gone. Her regret that she never got to ask her if she felt the same.
She Never got to show her Opherla besides by vidscreen and she never knew just how Kind opherla really was. What if Opherla had crush at the moment? What would she do if the Saiyans came to earth? Zaks Already knew her, Opherla, And Liek would be targeted by the Saiyans. They would not be the only ones but they were far to strong to be allowed to be running lose around the planet. With her pod she could probably escape the planet but what then? Just keep Running? After she left the rest of the Hagan mercs to die? They were all half bloods living together on another world and not brining it into the Saiyan empire. They would be killed or enslaved... There really was no option but to fight or make it so they never came to earth in the first place.
Taking a deep breath she removed her hand from the gravity machine making sure to keep it were it was. She needed to keep her training up so that even when she slept she was training as her body forced it self to breath in the heavy gravity. No matter what she could not stop her training as she prepared to give herself the best chance she could into scaring the Saiyan empire away. She would stand tall so that they knew earth was no push over. She would make it so even if the king himself came to earth they would lose or bleed so badly that there enemies would rush in and wipe them out.
So several notes to know about heavy gravity. If your bed has springs or legs on them... they would not for long as she found out during the night when she destroyed hers. get metal bowls so the weight of the food don't break them and as much as she hated it had to turn the gravity off to eat. But she had turned it straight back on when had finished.
Going out into the training room she Called out to her computer a voice command. "" Gunthor. Call The EDF general AKabaria... or what ever his name was"" Thankfully Gunther already knew who she was trying to call since she had made multiple calls recently but had not managed to catch the busy man. He better not be ignoring her and if he was she would fix that real quick. She did not ignore his calls the bastard.
This time she was in luck right before she hung up the line connected and inside the training room she could see his face on the screen. And he could see her as she was struggling to do a push up. "" Good morning Sir.... I wanted to talk about.... Possibly Joining."" She said cutting to the chase with the elderly General. Something she knew he would respect since they had worked together before. "" Oh really Zaks? ... You have to forgive me since you were so adamant last time not to join under the basic terms..."" Zaks probably would have grimaced if she was not already struggling to do yet another push up with the damn chamber.
She could not blame him as last time she had pretty much done everything in her refusal but flip the man off. But back then she had to be ready to Opherla but she had not felt the need to protect earth like she did now. Now it was her home and she realized it more then she did then. She realized that if she did not do something then it was only a matter of time before the world was gonna be invaded.. by ether the Empire or The PTO.
"General i just want you to know... I went back to Vegeta and had a nice little wake up call. If i don't do something they will or the PTO will come to earth. What then? Turn my head as they start destroying the world. Run from this world as well?.... The group i am trying to protect wont all fit on the ship... they would be targeted for just being slightly stronger then the soldier of earth. "" Zaks came up out of her push up postion so she could look the general in the eyes as she explained her mindset before the man.
"" So what you are telling me that is... You now have a reason to fight for earth and view it as your home. That would be a very big change Zaks.... You know there is only one other on this planet i would allow to call me about joining as i do not have time for this normally. But... Honestly i Should be telling you anything that i thought you wanted to hear as your power alone is worth it... But I am gonna tell you the right thing. You should only join if you are sure... We will do our best to help you defend the earth... You are in a class all of your own. You would be the strongest most powerful warrior we have.""
The general thought about something for a moment before looking at Zaks in the Eyes. "" You Would become a symbol for us if you managed to show just how strong you are at the tournament... you would never have another moment of peace... reporters would flock to you .. you would become a Celeberty overnight. Are you sure of this... The others will try to play politics with you. If you join i will try my very best to help you do your damn Job. Zaks... I will be frank we need you."" With that admission the General stopped talking as he waited to hear back from the warrior that was before him.
Zaks on the other hand was realizing what her joining would actually mean for her and her life. It would probably never be hers again and that was not even counting the missions they would be sending her on all the time. She had never considered that aspect of it before as there was nothing exactly like that on Vegeta.
"" General.... Draw the Contracts i will drop by and review them when i arrive on earth soon."" The General looked shocked for a min realizing that she was calling him from Space. Of course he connected the Dots quickly that she was still on her way back from Vegeta. "" Will you make it back in time?"" he Asked hesitantly.
"" Short answer general is I will be there in time."" She had already checked her course and she would arrive with plenty time to spare. She knew he would understand and did not bring that up with him. But she grew a Cheeky smile for a moment as she looked at him "" Sir"" she added making him slowly smile. It was not a full 100% yes but it was a good indicator of how she felt. "" Well General I need to get back to training.. I am at 44x earths Gravity and need to raise it higher... Btw mind helping find some for that when i get to earth?"" She asked.

Zaks was happy that she was finally getting some were in training in the gravity as she now could walk at a brisk pace under the affects of the gravity and do some simple workouts. But she would not be happy until she was strong enough to fight in this gravity! Just standing tall was not something for her to be proud of just yet.
But there was thing she was learning while under the affects of the Gravity and that was her defensive training. Normally it was easy to project her Ki From her entire body to create her Barrier. But now she could not longer do that thanks to her having to use so much just to stand up. But she could focus it out through her hands but not large enough to form a good Barrier or control it good enough to shield herself. but it did show her were she concentrated her Ki easily and she was sure she could use it to control the rest of it later as she got more control.
Her mind was already racing as she realized if she pictured it like she were she projected like were it left her hands it would be stronger there. It would help by allowing her to force her barrier to focus more of its power at the Epicenter of an attack with much less focused thought from Zaks. with everything else she was training it would be a while she could put the final touches on such training. But it was hearting to see she was still learning more about her Own abilities.
The only thing she could do now was constantly project her barrier While she moved about the training room and while it was hard she saw results constantly as could regulate her Ki at a rate she had before. it was almost like something was there that she was learning to control and it almost felt like when her eye was open fully. She kept feeling it and when her mind focused but... Stronger. Focused but she still could not grasp it fully. "" Maybe it was something like her eye? When she had first start fighting he had not been able to use it properly and maybe that was it? "" She thought to herself. Maybe She was to weak to use it...or was it her ability to focus her power?
"" From now on I guess I need to focus on both my physical body and my mental one. What ever i am feeling cant be just a small thing. Maybe I will need to really watch myself if I can push my Evolved Eye? was it further then it went now? But Even then that would be useful in a fight if she could push her power to new Heights. Even limited that would give her an edge she did not have now and maybe even allow her to change the tide of a battle in her Favor.
Maybe she should go back to all the training she had growing up. She remembered Dakion teaching her before he had lost his mind. She could remember his exercises for her to follow every day. And As she did them now she could not help herself but falling back into those memories .
She had been only 12 years old but already almost to his nose in height her hair was cut short. Not something she had done herself but the Elites had done it to her for being a half breed. The Elite children liked to target her and Daikon was showing her how to defend herself when they tried it again. Something she had later been able to.

With that The Child abandoned by so many With nothing but the Rags afforded to the poorest of saiyans tried to attack the Saiyan Veteran. She held nothing back but it did little to help her as Daikon Brought his elbow down on her head smashing her face first into the dirt. In true Saiyan Fashion he then proceeded to kick her in the chest while she was down. "" Fight back damn you!"" He cried as he pursued her to attack her again.
Thinking back on it Zaks knew he was teaching her how harsh battles could be and be able to endure damage so she could keep fight when she was hurt. No warrior of another world would allow a saiyan to recover if they could help it. It was one of the many facts about being a real warrior.
Of course Zaks had been to slow and he had grabbed her neck and slammed her back into the ground Suffocating her. She struggled for a few moments before she saw her Chance as his tail moved before her eyes. Just liek she had done in her last fight she grabbed his tail knowing that he would have to let go when she got her hands on his tail.
Why?... Why was her Vison still going dark? why was he still able to choke her! She had his tail! her eyes franticly searched for the answer for a moment before daikon showed her a kindness and explain it to her. "" You can train your tail to ignore..."" He never got to Finish his sentence as Zaks in a panic Bit the only thing she could. Daikons tail!. While it was true his tail was trained from being grabbed that did not mean it could not be hurt. Apparently a anger Childs teeth could still make the older warrior scream in pain and let her go when he chucked her away from him. """ OWWW YOU BIT ME YOU LITTLE!""
Zaks was still trying to recover as she coughed her self trying to recover from his hold on her neck. of course he still did not let up as he kicked her in the stomach again knocking what little she had recovered to escape her longs. It was also far to much for the young warrior to handle as she passed out from lack of air as she failed to draw breath after his attack.
It was later that day that she woke up in a...soft bed? Were was she? The only time she ever slept on a good bed was when she was taking over a planet and stole a bed. Sitting up she turned her head slow as she took in the room around her her eyes warry. Suddenly a loud scream could be heard down stairs.
"" What do you mean you knocked her out! Your a Middle class warrior! she is a half-bred low ranking warrior! They did not even see it fit to put armor on her when they sent her on her Second mission. She came back wearing what ever the warriors of that world wore! Yet here you are hitting and making her pass out on her first day of training with you? Does she even know how to throw a proper punch or is she just swinging at random.? Well father!""
She realized slowly that endo was yelling at Daikon down stairs and from what she knew from her memories it was this little mess up if why Endo had taken her into her training. She had been the one to Make her get something better then the brown rags she had been given and got her some old fashion armor. It had been new but made and placed into a warehouse for years until they had been given to her.
Of course that did not mean that Daikon had stopped training her and being just as harsh but... Endo had stopped by day after day to teach her how to fight and even had her team help teach her. But she was an Squad leader and often gone on mission for the empire.
She could not help but grin to her self as she tried to do her first flip and landed harshly on her own back as she slipped on her landing. As she got up she could still Remember Endo teaching her to do flips and to streaech properly. It was that influence that had taught her not to be so stiff in combat despite her frame. As she got older it was endo who had taught her things.. more then just how to fight.
Despite what other races thought Saiyan women did value there appearance. They did not focus it as they had several natural tendency's that made it harder then other races. There hair having minds of there own was a big one for sure. something Zaks did not have as her hair was long and straight naturally. Endo had loved to style it and the one who had come up with her current style... just smaller as her hair had been always cut short until she had come to earth. She intentionally made it puffy to make it stay out of her face for the most part when she fought.
God she missed them both. Her slight hesitation made her stumble yet again when she tried to flip and once again she landed on her back. God damnit that was starting to hurt! It was so frustrating to fall on her back or head so many times over and over as she practiced her mobility. She wanted to stop but she had learned early that if you did not keep your mobility while you built your muscle you would end up stiffer. Zaks was already a big target the last thing she did not want was not able to avoid blows. Or Ki blasts.
She had a few scars from when she had not managed to avoid other attacks and she did not want to add anymore then she had to. After all Zaks had learned to like her looks on earth when the few humans had hit on her. Not that they were what she was looking for but it was nice to hear compliments.
it had taken several hours but she finally had it down! She could finally use her full range of motion and do her acrobatics around the training room. While she was still having a hard time flying around the ship with the gravity being so high. the same could not be said about her full ground motion. While it felt clunky and sluggish she had full ability to use any of her mobility.
It was time to take a break. What should she do while she rested her body just a little bit? AHH! "" I should send a message home. I bet Opherla will love to receive something from me.
Heading back tot he console Zaks pushed some buttons on her console and set it to record a message to be sent out when there was a chance. Honest the message might even send until she was back on earth as Opherla did not have state of the art tech like the general had. As the screen counted down she prepared her best smile and looked at the Camara.
"" How are you doing Kiddo? I am sorry for being gone so long but i really needed to go back and take care of something. Do you remember her the one I used to show you on the Video... The one you saw Save us that day? Well I had to bury her or at least honor her one last time. I fear that after this tournament we wont be allowed to return to Vegeta. After all... We are gonna Beat the Saiyans at the tournament! I hope you been training!""
She looked to her left and pointed at a since tower that seemed to go from the floor to the Ceiling directly in the center of the room she was in. "" Take a look at this! I had this installed on the ship and its a gravity machine! I am training every step i take every day! Your gonna love it! you can come over and use it any time you want... But that does remind me... This ship is your home to and i even have a room prepared for you when you visit or live here. ""
Zaks Hesitated as she was not really sure what to say. She was not the best at sending messages and always wondered if it bothered Opherla with how disconnected some times. She knew that Opherla loved her but that did not mean she wanted more from her mother and it was something she recently had come to worry about. It probably had to do with her leaving the nest so to speak but Zaks could not help but wonder if it was Opherla putting some distance from her.
"" I hope you been doing good and I heard a little bird sent you see master Roshi. I think it is funny since i am also training under him... He i think is a good man...but a perv. But i am sure by now you already know that. I almost have the Kamehameha learned myself! You better have been putting that training to good use. Any way I... Well I love you Opherla. You take care.""
With that Zaks stood up and walked over to turn the recording off and to send the message. She had no idea if it would even reach her but if it did then she was happy. It was not to much longer before she would reach earth herself and if nothing else she could tell her that she loved her in person rather then having a recording tell her. She was very proud of her daughter for being so much stronger then her when she was the Same age. She had the power and hidden ability to surpass her easily if she focused it. But if she didn't and decided to live her life her way... then she would be happy for her and train to make sure she was safe.
If the Saiyan did come to earth then she would show them what they lost all those years ago when some of there Elites got themselves in a tiffy about some half breed that was climbing the ranks of the Saiyans army ladder. If she had the ability then they should be glad that she had been sired but instead they let there foolish pride blind them.
Now that She was getting used to the gravity even as it punished her body so heavy to live in it constantly she needed to up her game as much as she could. Today she was gonna practice flying and fighting the small drones in the training bay. She smiled at the thought of an actual challenge instead of just swinging her fists at thin air.
It would not normally be a challenge to fight these small drones but in this gravity she bet the little bastards were gonna shock the shit out of her often. They were state of the art in the Saiyan empire as they were not affected by the gravity field that she would be training inside of. This would make them very fast with out hard she was gonna struggle to catch them during the training. But that was the point.
She set them up to turning in 30 seconds and waited as close to the middle as she could for them to turn on. There was 4 of them total and once they activated they would sail around the training room until she destroyed them or called for them to turn them off by a simple command. "" Stop"" It was simple for a reason so that it would not be confusing to make them not attack her when she was done training. or if something just so happened to happen like her placing the Gravity chamber on to high of a setting and unable to get up.
With a slight ticking noise they all leapt up into the air and started to soar around the room as they targeted her and began to talk to each other using radio waves. Zaks was quick to follow suit and leap into the air and fly around the room as she ducked one of the drones. They were so much faster then her it was not even funny and she wondered why would they had not attack her yet.
What are they doing?"" No sooner then she said that she felt a searing pain go across her back as one of them had snuck up on her and Zapped her from behind."" Ugghh"" She growled out as she recovered from the attack and realized no matter what she did she would never catch them with just her hand. She started by fending them off even as they constantly tried to aim for her blind spots.
She Struggled hour after hour from the little bots before she had to give up for a while and send them back to the box to be recharged and used later. It had been a great workout if she to be honest with herself. Sure the bots had whipped her pretty soundly but they were meant to do that. After all training vs things that are easy or weaker then you rare showed great results. She never understood Saiyans who bragged about killing civilians and how always let them escape herself. There was nothing to be gained to kill those who fled .
Although now she was pretty sure she could never invade another world. She would never be able to hurt some one who begged for the children again or attack warriors who were defending the women and children. She was just no longer a heartless monster.
Although she was training and she should focus on the task at hand. If she had she might have noticed them all attack her at once and avoided the shock of all four of the little robots that actually really hurt. She could not stop herself as she fell out of the air down on to the floor. Her Knees hit first and she almost bit her tonged from the pain of the increased gravity. The Damn little bots needed there stupid little heads smashed in She raged internally.
Standing back up again she then floated into the air and Screamed her Defiance at the little drones before she charged after them again before they all flew in different directions to confuse her...and it worked...
Her training was starting to pay of as she could move more and more Freeling even with the Gravity machine turned on all the way. She knew That she should turn up the machines gravity as they had advanced to a further stage but could not since there was a fault in the damn thing. it was taking up to much power and if she did she could arrive late as it would effect the power of the Space ships Engine. It was a sad fact but she needed to let her training suffer just a little bit in order to complete her goal and arrive at the tournament on time.
She honestly could feel the something changing within her now as her body changed slowly. A clarity was starting to form in her mind and her body was responding so much better then ever before. something was changing and she was not sure what it was but whatever it was it was definitely for the better. She could not just ignore it as it might be something that makes her stronger then ever. She had not really listened or paid attention when her eye was first awakening and if she had maybe her friend would till be alive.
Sitting down were she could she focused her mind in peace Zaks took a deep breath in letting the air flow around for a more then a few moments before letting out her breath. She would repeat this step several times before she allowed herself to relax and focus her Ki through her body. But why was it resisting her controlling it and focusing it.? She was trying to bring it to her Ki center but it was fighting it.
This was odd since Zaks never had her Ki actively fight her before now. before now her Ki worked the best when it was focused from her core in her chest but now it seemed to want to go to her head. Maybe she should let it go were it wanted to? With a deep breath she allowed it to go were it wanted or at least a small portion of it. Maybe it would tell her something as it traveled up to her head. She thought for a second it would go to her mind but it didn't. No it went for her eyes of all things. No she should be surprised at all since she could open her eye all the way and become stronger.
She let it gather in her eyes for a little while before she tried to open her eyes fully or truly she guessed and suddenly felt the surge throughout her body. She Scream as it burst from her eyes releasing a golden light from her eyes and pain rocketed through her eyes and down to her body. The pain was brutal it felt like some one had placed a needle in her eyes and was digging around now. Her skin felt like it was on fire but it was nothing compared to what was happening to her eyes. She could no longer control were her Ki was going as it all rushed her eyes making her pain even worse.
She could no longer See and a thought of that she had blinded herself surfaced. Why had she allowed something that she knew was different and dangerous to happen to. Suddenly there was no pain at all. Slowly she realized she was blinking her eyes as her vison returned but everything was off and it took her a moment to place it. She could see just like when she fully opened her eye except...better. It was like using a pair of Goggles under water when you had lived your entire life without and the world became clearer. it was like every single object gave of a unique reflection each and nothing ever looked the same again.
She turned her head and realized how easy it was to do so. She was easily able to turn her head regardless of the gravity machine being turned on as if there was no machine or weights on her body it really was freighting. Lifting her hands up she could only stare at them in wonder as she was able to see the power in them. It was like there was a greenish sliver light leaving her body slowly like a persons aura that surrounds them when they use there full power. Yet with her eyes she could see small bits constantly leaving her. "" Did i evolve into something new?""
Slowly she stood up and looked around as she tried to adjust to the new power that was running through her body at that very moment. If she had to Guess her new power was... high and maybe only the King of vegeta could challenge her but even then she was not sure. Trying to guess power levels when you never saw some use there full power was a recipe for disaster. No she still needed to keep her training going but now... she should focus on the Technique side of things as this new power was hard to control.
Luckily for her she had the perfect idea on how she could do it. She had issues before using her barrier inside of the gravity of the ship but that did not matter now as her Ki seemed to be in a much more stable sequence then it had ever been. She could not help but realize just much stronger her Ki was as it responded very quickly to her commands. but she could not really fine control its movements yet. So that is were she would start by refining her KI to new levels she was not wasting any.
Raising both her hands shoulder height she projected her barrier around her and used every trick she knew to control it. It was working but it was draining way more ki then she would like so she needed to fix that. Slowly she started to refine her barrier and use less and less ki even as it went all over the place with all the tricks she knew. but the newest trick were the barrier reacted to what was hitting it and growing stronger in the center of the attack. It worked! She could see her own blasts being deflected by her barrier and it holding much easier then she had ever planed to before now. with this she was sure she could make a perfected barrier! or at least the strongest she could produce at this exact moment.

As Zaks Kept her training up all the way until she was near earth and now she was wondering what was gonna happen now that she had changed yet again. Her eyes were different then before and as before she had silver eyes or red depending on her state but now? The silver eye had turned golden and She did not know what to think about that. She had always liked her sliver yes and now that they were gone she was not sure how she should feel about that. Not that golden eyes were not bad as well but it did make some really getting used to.
Was this power that everyone went through or was there something in her blood probably the Cearlian side if she had to take a guess as she never heard a saiyan undergo a transformation like this before. Maybe this power surge was the two blood lines working with one another . It made he feel a little special but also a little sad to see that her power was purely from her blood lines and not. She had wanted to be the one to find it.
Zaks had been focusing on this awakening her for a little while now as she was in the final leg of her journey to earth. There was so much of it she still did not understand but she was gonna try her best to find out before the tournament that was set to be under way in a few hours. She let her Ki flow more naturally then she had ever before almost directly opposite of what she had learned growing up as a saiyan warrior. The warrior training had taught her how to feel her Ki and to take control of it. But what she had noticed with this little change within herself was a very different story.
This new change was more along the lines of directing the flow of her Ki through her eyes rather forcing it to do what she wanted. This flow did not fight her and actually allowed her to push more Ki in a direction then she had been able to before. It was almost like rivers or streams of Ki flowed within her body or maybe Viens. All had a direction that they wanted to go in and if they followed those routes the Ki flowed better and stronger then it did then if she dragged it were she wanted to, All she pretty much had to do was direct it.
another odd thing was her Core had been the point were all of her Ki gathered before like a well that she would dip into. Now? it was like she had two different wells one in her eyes and the one in her gut. The one in her eyes was smaller but flowed more Easy then the one in her gut almost like a dam that would create a lake to be stored from the river upstream.
Now the difference in her body physical shape was astounding as it never felt lighter then it did now and responded to her commands much more quickly then ever before. It was almost like her Ki up until this point had been weakening her and she honestly did not understand it exactly. Why would just learning the flow of her Ki make her physical body change so much? She could do all the things she struggled with under the effects of the gravity machine with ease. She needed to find a way to increase the gravity machines effects and find some heavier weights.
Pulling he Ki out she let it leave her body and flow out to the weight sets nearby and wash over them. Slowly they rose into the air and spun slowly as she focused on her Ki and her ability to control it. This form of meditation training was something that master roshi had taught her during her brief time with him. It was a way to better focus her Ki and he had explained to her when she got more control of it that her body would evolve with it.
Ohh Duh. What ever had happened to her was exactly as master roshi had described to her. It was an awakening that her entire body was experiencing with her new found sense with her own Ki. She had not realized it until that moment what it meant and she felt a little foolish for not understanding it. "" I guess i will have to tell the old man thank you later for telling me about this. I don't think it is the exact same but well it will still nice to realize she was not crazy so to speak. She really wanted to increase her power even further and now she had another way to do that besides just picking up some heavy things.
slowly she started to control were all the weights went around her like multiple heavy objects flowing around her like she was the center of a tornado and she was the eye of the storm so to speak. that was another thing she noticed as he power flowed around through her it seemed to make her mind even more clear then it was ever before. she could focus on more then just one thing going on around her and not struggle. Before this it was hard to do more then one thing for Zaks and she often struggled with simple things if she had to multi task in her training.
Training Opherla had been hard for Zaks since she had to put her own training on halt to exam her or explain it to her. This was not something had ever told the girl as it was not her fault Zaks could not multi task worth shit. but now it was so easy! She could lift the Weights with her Ki get up and start doing her stretching exercises at the same time! To top it off her mind was still free to consider other thoughts! Just like what she was doing now! stretching her body to make sure it was still flexible all the while she was doing the meditation master Roshi had taught her.
When she got back she had to see what master roshi would say about these changes and maybe the old man would know how to push her further then ever before? She would love it if he could push her in another direction if she was being honest. Sure she could still train herself but it was mostly gonna be trial and error from now as she needed something to increase her power when it was already so high. He was the one that had taught her how to sense Ki in the world around her and he had started her in the ability to control her Ki. It was not to much of a stretch to say the biggest change to her was how she handled her KI and how it affected her. She was sure the old man could figure out how to further her training to the next level..
Sudden the alarm letting her know she was close to earth went off making her turn her head to see what it was. A small smile appeared on her face as she realized she was home! she was finally fucking home! She could see everyone before the tournament! She could hug Little opherla and see how she was doing. She had been only gone for a little over a weak but it seemed like she had been gone months and she had changed so drasticly that it was not even funny.
She wondered how They would handle it? she was already considered the strongest on earth but now... now she was in a whole new level that would make the strongest in the galaxy stop and think twice before fighting her. This was something that brought a small smile to her face and she knew she could take pride in it. although she had to admit she was worried still with the tournament looming over them. After all fighting Callion had awoken something in both of them. they both had walked away changed from there fight and she was not sure that some one else in the Saiyan race had risen to meet her challenge. Callion had proved to her that they or at the very least him and become somthing more then they ever were before.
Salada had proven to be what she expected from Elites and while Callion had destroyed what she had expected from Elites. The contrast between the two had shaken her faith in the idea that she hated all Elites. Even Salada in her own way had impressed her with her power and will power. Though to be honest she should not have been surprised as one thing all Saiyans had was an excess in will power compared to other races.
Soon she came into range of earths sensors and she started to receive hails from the earth government asking who she was. It was simple to press a few buttons on the monitor to send her Documentation to get her landing on earth cleared though she had to admit she saw nothing but paying respect to the government to do so. It was not like earth had any real way to defend itself except its ground armies and it was even easier to move past the sensors coverage. Earth had more money then many worlds yet they did not spend nearly enough of it on there defenses. it was something that would always bother her.
She knew she was a Saiyan and had grown up pretty much fighting wars around the galaxy but it still bothered her how others too there defense for granted. She had seen to many Worlds destroyed.. no that was not right,. she had destroyed to many worlds for her to ever take her life for granted and she would always focus on getting stronger so those around her could live there lives of peace. But it was time to start thing about her future.
The ship started to shake as it reentered earths atmosphere and became a flaming comet as it flew down to north city down below. The ship while Saiayan was of good design as she never felt it heat up or shake that badly as it descended from the heavens and joined down below it. Looking out the window at the sight of earth Zaks felt her heart swell. it was her new home and it was beautiful. She would make sure it stayed that way with ever fiber of her being. She had enjoyed returning to her home world but it had not been her home unlike earth was to her now. The Bright blues and greens made her want to just enjoy the view a moment long.
Vegeta was beautiful in its own way with how rugged the world was. The planet breed strength and survival of the fittest compared to earth but that had its own charms that only some people could under stand. she had been born there so she could easily see it but if she had taken some one from earth there she doubted they would understand the oozru wastes and how the barren landscape helped countless warriors overcome there desire to turn into great apes and level everything around them.
"" Zaks Luna ID numner 2453562. I repeat Zaks Luna of the ship gunther ID number 2453562. You are cleared to land at space dock 3 on the north Side of the City. The normal Fees will apply to you and your ships. be prepared for customs to come on board and make sure you are not smuggling anything onto the world. But until we meet face to face... Welcome to earth."" The man on the radio said as the ship followed the updated instruction easily.
Oh she guessed she should turn off the gravity machine. it would be funny to watch the earthlings get smashed when they came on board but she had a feeling she might get in trouble with them if that was the case. She quickly ran to the engineering room to shut off the Gravity and mahine even as she heard the ship receive clamps to hold it in place at the space yard. it still would be several hours before she was allowed to leave the ship. The ship was new and she needed to register it and pay all the few with using the dock here. Sure she could land any were but since this had been it maiden flieght there had been several kinks in the system and the workers here would go a long way on repairing those for her.
"" Dock command. transferring over the work plan and requests that are needed for a ships first flight. I am sorry but i am gonna need a Qoute on how to repair and fix some things. all the systems on board are not the friendliest.
Zaks slowly entered all the commands needed for the ship to allow the dock Access to its systems so they could do there own work on it. they would need to get into the computers to see what the issues were and what they good so about it. But she was sure they could handle it now that she had given them permission to.
slowly she Exited the ship and waved to the supervisor nearby to catch he mans attention. "" Hey sir how is it going?"" she asked with a friendly smile to the older man. Thankfully he seemed to be the happy type rather then the gruff foremen that often ran crews. "" They there how are you doing? don't worry about your ship we will call you later to let you know what will be needed for it. Enjoy some time off in the city and welcome to earth. To his kind response she merely smiled and nodded her acceptance. It did little to let them know she was from earth now as she did not look the part at all. Standing at her height getting of a space ship? HAH. aliens were a lot more common on earth the Vegeta but they were not that common. But she would take him up on his advice later.
Now she went back to her ship and flipped the gravity machine back on after she placed a warning sign on the door. She wanted to do a little more training before she head off to the tournament. It was mostly to relax her herself before but she did. she wanted the gravity as it was what she was used to living in and she mostly wanted to stretch her muscles after forcing them to work so hard for so long. slowly she sat down on the hard ground below her and bent her back as if she was trying to grab her own feet arching it in a way that would make most people cringe.
Zaks had kept herself nimble as she could ever sense endo had beat it into her skull that her size while it gave her power. Its draw back was that she was not as flexible as other and she had taken that personally at that age. She hated to be told back then she was weaker then others or any other Saiyan warrior. she had been eager to prove herself to everyone else that her mixed blood line did not make her weaker then anyone else. The habit of stretching had stuck with her as she grew up and turned into something very Useful for her in combat. The habit had given her Kicks a lot more power and her movement were much hard to predict.
Moving on to the next pose focusing on her hamstrings as she sat down and tried to hold her toes only to feel the muscle tense painfully. "" OF course i haven't been stretching properly with all the weight training that i have done. It was not surprising with all the muscle she had put on that she would fall behind in other areas. It was something she would have to correct when she had the chance to and maybe she would ask the old man to help her.
Why not she was already gonna be asking for a lot of help as it was. She needed to master the Kamehahah still and see if he had any pointers on how to refine her Ki control. It had been a big increase of power in both terms of raw power and Technique in her grow recently. Maybe he would help her step in the right direction for the next enlightenment? or maybe she should consider it a transformation. Like her eye.... after a moment she smiled. How much stronger would she get if she opened her eye again? "" Lets find out. ""
From her position she tried to fully open her eye to see her new power level...except nothing happened. her vison did not get better and her power did not increase... no it just felt like something was missing compared to before. Like suddenly the muscles was gone and she could not even truly recall how she did it anymore. "" What is going on... It cant be.."" Zaks ran to a mirror on the ship and stared at herself in shock.
The woman before her was definitely her but there was small changes that she could see that were not there before. Her eyes stuck out to her as they had taken on her transformed appearance but she could not make it resend back to her silver that was her original color. Was it that she had gotten strong enough and her eye fully opened... permanently? It would explain her increase in power for sure. She could never keep her eye open for long as it caused her great pain.
"" So this power up was me finally able to channel my power properly... i never realized just how much it was not controlled."" she murmured to her self as she touched her face in fascination. This entire time her need for power after her death had driven her to use a power she was not ready for. It was... Sad that she had assumed it was just a normal thing but it really had not been. she wondered what other abilities she had that she did not know about since she was raised a Saiyan.
"" when everything has settled i will need to find some Cearlans and learn about my heritage fully... .I don't think this is my Saiyan side coming out. Maybe there is something that they can help me learn... at the very least i should know if it will cause any problems. Maybe Barley from the village will help me. "" She considered the wise old man who made her feel at home in his village. Maybe she should bring a present.""
turning around she went switched of the Gravity chamber and left the ship. She had a fight to get to.
